Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Mousse

Good for use as regular mousse, not a fan for waves

I don't like this mousse for helping my wavy hair. It always looks hard, shiny, and wet when I use it on my towel dried hair. I would love to find a product that will help my wavy hair say wavy without looking hard. I gave this product eight stars though, because it works awesome for me in the summer when I work outside in hot temperatures and high humidity (sweating really bad) and wear a ponytail. I don't need a headband to help keep my hair up when I use this because I can go all day without flyaways when I use this mousse. And, as will all herbal essence products, they are VERY affordable.

Meh. . .ok

I was disappointed with this line of products. When my hair is air dried, it is naturally wavy, but falls flat very quickly. I was really hoping that this line of products would help define my waves and help them last at least for a few hours. The shampoo leaves my hair dry, frizzy, and damaged looking and the conditioner doesn't help at all. After using these products, my hair looks like it was only rinsed with water and is very dull. I wouldn't recommend it, as I have to use leave in conditioner after using this shampoo and conditioner.

it's OK. . .

When air dried, my hair is naturally wavy, but falls flat very quickly. I was hoping that using this line of products would help my waves stay put for at least a couple of hours. I have always used the shampoo and conditioner together, and tried the mousse with it a couple of times. My hair is no more wavy than normal and does NOT stay put. The shampoo leaves my hair looking frizzy and dull, even with the matching conditioner. My hair looks unhealthy when I use this and I have actually resorted to using this only as a backup if I run out of another shampoo or when guests come over (how evil of me, haha). I wouldn't recommend this for the purpose of having wavy hair, though it does seem to clean my hair and I have used a couple of time with leave in conditioner and it was OK.

Avon MOISTURE THERAPY Oatmeal Hand Cream

Great for extremely dry winter skin.

This hand cream is great for those super dry patches of winter skin. I actually use it on the heels and balls of my feet in winter. I apply it excessively to my problem areas before bed, put on cotton socks, and after two nights of doing this, my feel are back to normal! I occasionally use it on my hands but don't need such intensive lotion for my hands. The reason I give it nine stars instead of ten is because it is so greasy. I realize that such intensive lotion does need to more oily but it's just not practical for applying on the hands all day because you'd end up getting it on everything.

CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Waterproof Mascara

No one needs to spend more than $10 on mascara ever again!

I have naturally long, dark, curly eyelashes so I have be be careful about mascara because my lashes can very quickly become too long or fake looking. I also cannot wear lengthening mascara because they make the ends of my lashes look super thin and almost crooked. This mascara wears all day without flaking or smudging, (the reasons I only wear waterproof mascara). I apply this mascara very heavily at the base and less towards the ends. It makes my lashes look so incredibly thick and shiny black! It's really amazing and I got an amazing complement this past summer. I was wearing only mascara and a couple of young ladies at a social gathering asked me what mascara I used because they thought my lashes looked amazing and were BLOWN AWAY to find out that I used mascara that costs less than $10!

Estee Lauder Artist's Eye Pencil

Best eyeliner I have ever used!

I am 24 years old and have always used drugstore brand makeup. My boyfriends mom gave me some Estee Lauder makeup and I am in love! I was given the soft smudge brown color of this pencil and It is amazing! I normally hate real pencils and instead, use the plastic sticks of eyeliners that always end up smudging! Unlike real pencils I've used from the drugstore, was VERY easy to apply, the color itself is so soft and creamy, it just glides right onto my skin for easy application. It is also extremely long lasting. It stays put EXACTLY where I put it and doesn't smudge all day! It looks freshly applied into the night and I must say that it has shown me that more expensive makeup can be well worth the price! Definitely a must-buy!
