    Giovanni 50/50 Balanced Hair Remoisturizer

    Great Organic Conditioner

I am thrilled. I have been hunting for a shampoo and conditioner combo from a natural/organic brand for quite a while. I found that most either didn't feel like they cleaned my hair or, in most cases, just didn't moisturize and detangle well enough. After trying Avalon Organics, Aubrey, Nature's Gate and others I was about to give up when a friend reccommended I try Giovanni. The first couple days I thought it was okay, but not amazing. Maybe my hair just needed period to adjust from the lack of 'cones and stuff though. After a week, I realized my hair was soft and clean and doing great. I am really loving this stuff. The scent is sort of fruity/citrus, but not overpoweringly so. It smells nice, fresh, and clean. For reference, I have shoulder length colored hair that is pretty fine (but there is a lot of it).

  • Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation

I am very pleased with this foundation. I have it in no. 15 alabaster, and it is one of the few foundations I have found that is pale enough for my PPP skin (the other being MAC and theirs wreaked havoc on my complexion). It leaves a nice matte finish, can be used for med to full coverage, has not broken my skin out, and I can even use it as concealer in some cases. Pretty good. I think I may be slightly darker tone than this foundation, and lighter than no. 20, but this blends out pretty well and as winter is starting, I will only get paler. I am still always on the lookout for my perfect foundation, but this one is definitely one of the best I have seen in a while.
