I bought this because I wanted to be able to use some of my bright eyeshadows as liners, and I had already tried the "wet eyeliner brush" trick (it didn't stay on when I used water). This product does make the liner stay put, however I had hoped for an intensely colored line (one that would be as intense as a liner as it was in shadow form), and all I got was a watered down version of the color. Further, unless I use the darkest, most heavily pigmented shadows (black, dark brown, plum), the liner is barely visible. So, this isn't all that I hoped it would be. One last point to consider: I haven't yet tried building the coverage until I achieve the intensity I want. So, that may be an option.

I have always had trouble keeping my eyeshadow in place--the colors tend to fade within a few hours, and I get the dreaded creasing, espeically with brighter, more highly pigmented shadows. I tried this potion, hoping it would be the cure-all. While it was good, and it did help keep the colors from fading and sliding around, it didn't really stop the creasing. And my eyeshadow didn't stay smooth and powdery for very long after it was applied. The skin on my eyelids tends to stay pretty moist, so that may be part of the problem. I also have deep set eyes, so that may be part of it, too. In all, I will continue to use this product, but I'm still searching for the eye base that solves all my problems (and I don't think that's asking too much).
