L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Shocking Shadow Pigments
Pink, blue, gold, which shall I choose?
These shadows come in so many colors, and you can combine them to make even more! I think anything would be possible color wise. They also layer REALLY well to create a well blended yet dramatic look. It also lasts all day (or night, or both even) when worn over foundation. This is definitely THE alternative to the expensive stuff!

For those of you who are waiting for a product to completely reverse the hair growth process - don't hold your breath. However, for those of us who lost the genetic lottery when it comes to body hair, our savior is upon us. My leg hair grows so fast that normally, if I shave in the morning, by mid-afternoon I'm stubbly. Yes, a five-o-clock shadow on my legs. Noxzema hasn't made it so that I don't need to shave every day... But now I don't go to bed feeling like I wish I'd shaved again. My legs stay smooth all day.

I have semi-curly medium thickness hair. Finding a heat protecting spray has been a nightmare. The products for straightening and blow drying tend to make my hair very oily and flat. I've tried creams, oils, and sprays. This spray is different however. It helps detangle my curls and protect them from my blow dryer, flat iron, and curling iron without weighing my hair down. And the smell is pretty and fresh. When I'm done with all of my heat styling - my hair doesn't smell like old fryer grease. That's a plus!

When I saw this product, I had to buy it because it was Moroccan!!! I even rushed straight home to take a shower and use it. The smell is amazing. It reminds me of walking through the Casbah (not the camel poop part, but the intoxicating part). The moisture is just the right amount for Florida. It moisturizes my skin just enough so that I don't have to wear a heavy lotion in Florida heat. Definitely a great product.

My mom swears by this stuff in the winter months. I, however, am not quite as impressed by it. I LOVE that they added the darker shade, because the medium shade actually made me lighter. The darker shade does give me a bit of a glow after 2-3 days of use, but that's basically all the discipline I have. I don't like waiting for my skin to dry to put on a lotion, and I'm not so good about remembering to put it on. Not the product's fault per se, but just my personal qualms. Also, in winter time, you need to exfoliate before use of course, and possibly use an extra moisturizer if you live in the North.

The product does live up to its claims. Dry spots will be no more, and your skin feels so soft after using it that you may want to run your finger tips all over your super soft elbows. When I lived in Pennsylvania, this product was great for winter dryness, however, in Florida, it's a bit heavy for daily wear. I have to use it at night and then wash off in the shower in the morning or I feel really gooey.

These wipes are definitely my favorite. I prefer using wipes than eye make up remover to take off my make up in the evening before I wash my face (or depending on the evening, passing out). I've tried several brands, and the Boots wipes are the best I've tried. I wear a LOT of eye make up. Most of the time - dark shadow, lots of liner, and several coats of mascara. Most of the time I can get it all off with one wipe, but sometimes I do need a second. The only problem I've had with these wipes is that while traveling, the glue on the lid part has come off and it slides, making the top cloth a bit drier than I'd like, but that only happened with one package while traveling, and it may have just been a fluke. All in all, this is a great product.

I love the L'Oreal HIP Shadow Sticks! I have them in all the colors that I like and love mixing them up. I don't like using it as a stick, but a semi-damp brush against the tip makes the color work really nicely (and far more blendable).

Let me just begin by saying, Volume Shocking is not the kind of Mascara you wear if you want to look like the girl next door with no make up on... However, if you want to glam it up - Volume Shocking is the best drugstore brand on the market. The primer and brush are specifically designed to give you big, glam lashes, and that is exactly what they do. Ok, so it's kind of a pain to get off, but that could also be the eyeliner and shadow making it difficult. When it comes to big sexy glam lashes, I'm really not bothered by the removal process.

I tend to have issues finding foundation at a reasonable price that matches my skin well. The last few mineral brands that I had tried were all far too red and made my face look tomato-ish. A last resort before shelling out the bucks for bare minerals, I tried Revlon's ColorStay Mineral Foundation. I've got to say, it's incredibly inconvenient to use... You almost have to beat the container against the brush - but the color does match my skin perfectly. The coverage I get is great, even in Florida heat - although I do have fairly dry skin. I imagine that oily skin might not work as well with this product.
