This lotion is freshly scented and light, non greasy and yet very moisturizing. Unfortunately it is pricey and the pump does not always work well.

very moisturizing and does not interfere with my fragrance

I love this lotion as it moisturizes beautifully leaving my skin smooth and silky without feeling greasy. Best part is that the fragrance is light enough so it does not interfere with my fragrance. It is great for late spring and summer.

Burt's Bees Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment

My hair has never looked or behaved better

I swear by this product! If used correctly and as directed it is the most amazing pre-shampoo treatment. I use it the day before I wash my hair and before applying it to my curly dry locks, I toss my hair into a pony tale, dampen the ends and apply a sufficient amount to penetrate my ends. I then braid may hair and go on about my day. I then wash it out that night or the next day (just make sure to put a towel over the pillow to avoid staining). I use it twice a month during the summer and around four to five times a month in the winter and spring. My curly hair is manageable,soft and silky. It makes a visible difference when I use it, I also go longer between cuts. I have been a religious user since I discovered it by accident in 2001 or 2002 while still living abroad.

Garnier Fructis Fortifying Curl & Shine Shampoo

Definately not for curls

I was mildly let down by this product as it made my curls frizz uncontrollably. At first I thought it was a matter of using less or just allowing my hair to get used to the shampoo and conditioner, but the more I used.....the worse it got. It is too bad because I happen to like the brand.

Herbal Essences DeGunkify Tingling Deep Cleaning Shampoo

Auromatherapy, deep clenasing and bouncy curls.

This shampoo is my son's (he is 18) favorite of all times because of its smell and way of cleansing without stripping his scalp. I use it as a once a week cleansing agent to remove residue left behind from other styling products and heavy conditioners. It is also an incredible volume adder, gives me a full head of bouncy curls without the frizz.

Pond's Mend & Defend Intensive Protection SPF 15 Moisturizer

A+ for miosture and protection!

I have used everything from Orlane to Dove, and have to say that for I find myself coming back to Pond's where I started since I have recollection of using facial moisturizers. My favorite all year round ever moisturizer is Pond's Mend & Defense. I always keep a full supply on back up, for it is very hard to come by and lately nearly impossible. The value is spectacular when I compare it to what I paid for Dior or Orlane basic moisturizers or any of the other Department cosmetic brands. I no longer put out $50 or $60 for the other ones. It is gentle, does not break me out and keeps my skin hydrated and supple even through the dead of the winter and it is light enough to work well under foundations. I am 43 years old, and have combination oily/normal skin. I even did away with the eye cream as this moisturizer is gentle enough to provide moisture for the delicate eye area without making me puffy from over hydratrion. Pond's Mend & Defense Intensive Protection SPF 15 is a definite A+ in my book.
