I loved this and I feel like they put the Revlon Lip Butters to shame. More of a gel stick formula, they apply much less thick on the lip and feel moisturizing on the lips. They have a little bit of slip which I actually enjoy and feel rather comfortable. The ease of application and wear is what I truly enjoy with these. With one swipe these is enough sheer color to suffice but with a few more layers the color is semi-opaque but still allows your lips to show through with a somewhat jelly appearance. Because of the gel formula the packaging stays cleans and sleek. They last about 2 hours on me but I don't mind reapplication because they are so comfortable. To my surprise some colors do stain my lips within minutes like "Fiery Veil," my favorite orange lip color. They have a sweet floral scent which I like very much. I love these things.

Yes, this mascara has a thin coverage on the lashes. But, it does two things wonderfully. It separates my lashes and lengthens them subtlety to create a great base for my volumizing mascara. When I use this in conjunction with my Rocket or Colossal mascara it makes my lashes look great. Also this mascara can be built and built without clumps and with enough patience can make the lashes look long and defined. Of course if someone is looking for a dramatic formula this is certainly not it, it is still a mascara worthy of purchases and I quite like it.

People like this very much but it isn't my favorite sheer lipstick at the drugstore. I much prefer the L'oreal Color Riche Careese Stick which has a similar concept which is much more comparable to the Revlon Lip Butters than the Color Riche Balms. I have the color "Red Velvet" and while I really like the color, I am not a fan of the formula. Yes it is smooth and creamy but I don't find them particularly moisturizing. I actually feel like they dry my lips out. There is no stain with this which I would prefer like with my Careese Sticks. Also the product is so creamy and soft that is get all over the tube and currently my stick of product is at a perpendicular angle to the way it is supposed to positioned in the tube. God forbid I leave this in my purse on a summers day. Honestly I don't really reach for it for these reasons and I don't really care for the color selection either. I wouldn't repurchase.

I feel that these get a bad rep. I purchased this on a whim because I was curious about the unique formula and I am very much into stains. I got the color "Endless Red" which is a beautiful deep red with berry undertones. The smell can be a little off putting. To me it smells like markers and sunscreen with a touch of flowers. Oddly enough I kind of like the smell. I believe this product isn't so bad if you know how to apply it. You can't put a balm underneath this or it will apply streaky but I don't think it is needed anyway because it isn't a drying formula because of the glossy aspect. Applied to bare lips, it can be applied sheer or built up for more coverage. The applicator is a teardrop shaped doe-foot which is nice for precise application. This product is not weightless on the lips but once applied the look is so beautiful that I do not care that it is a bit thick. It gives the lips the appearance of wet lips. Quite juicy and lovely. Make sure not to smack or rub lips together because this will move the product around and create horizontal lines. The product never really "sets." It remains glossy which is astounishing. I wore this on Christmas for the whole night through dinner and dessert and it remained on my lips and remained glossy. I did need to touch up a bit but the color never completely faded which is impressive. I like this product but I don't reach for it often because it is high maintenance and you have to be quite careful when you wear it. But who can be that beautiful shine.

I have this product in Rich Red. First off, the swatch on the bottom of the tube is completely off. I was expecting a darker red but instead this is a medium neutral red shade. Still pretty but not what I was expecting. Also I was expecting this to be matte and this is not matte. It isn't quite that shiny either but I would not classify this as matte and rather as a lipcolor with a satin finish. Granted it is very creamy and comfortable and looks good on the lips. What upsets me is the misleading appearance and claims. The color selection isn't that great either and the sharpener attached to the actual product is pretty much useless as it didn't work for me. I will not repurchase this again but I will continue to use this.

When I first got this I was in love. I had not tried high end shadows yet but I had tried many drugstore ones. Up until that point I had disliked eyeshadows because of how powdery and cumbersome they were to use, but when I tired this that changed. These shadows are creamy and smooth and easy to apply. They have a decent color selection but I do wish they had a matte shade in each palette. Applied wet these shadows can have a foiled appearance which is so beautiful. They blend easy and don't have significant fall out. Since then I have tried some high end shadows that I like more but if on a budget these shadows are great.

I have five of these lipsticks and I have to say they are pretty nice. The color selection is superb and it is quite difficult to find matte lipsticks at the drugstore. At $2 who would pass these up. They are super opaque, smooth, and long lasting on the lips. I find they last about 6 hours on my lips which is relatively long for me. I was under the impression that all these lipsticks were matte however recently I bought the shade "Stoplight Red" which has a creamy finish similar to a creamsheen from MAC. This particular shade has the best formula on a red lipstick from the drugstore that I have ever tried. It is so smooth on my lips and makes them look so impossibly plush and soft. It is my holy grail bright red. But I do love the other shades as well. This are definitely worth picking up.

Recently, there was a sale for Maybelline at my local Rite Aid and I wanted to buy a mascara. I bought this lipstick as my second item because of the buy one get 50% off sale. I got this lipstick in the shade "Deepest Cherry" which is dark berry color. When I opened it I instantly loved the shade. It is unique to anything I have and it was so pretty in the tube. On first application I immediately noticed the smell. It smells slightly sweet with a touch of chemicals. I don't care for the smell. As soon as a swiped this on my lips I knew I didn't like this lipstick. I anticipated it would be a shiner lipstick but the opacity is disappointing. With such a dark lipstick I expected full coverage but it is very sheer and has to be built up with 5 or 6 layers to get full color. By the time you get full coverage on the lips it becomes very slippery and with a dark lip color this can be very dangerous. I wore it for a about and hour before removing it because it had already began bleeding out of the lip lines. It did stain my lips which I like but the formula is just not for me. I did hear that the formula on the Vivids are more opaque and creamy rather than these which is sheer and slippery. I will not be repurchasing any other Color Sensational lip colors if it isn't from the Vivids range.

There are a lot of mixed feelings on this mascara but I love it! I like my lashes to be full, not too volumized, seperated and long. This mascara does all that. The formula at first when you buy it decently wet and the brush can get a bit messy but it wiped off well this will do wonders on the lashes. I apply it buy wiggling the brush through my lashes, root to tip, and also blinking into it. I do wait about a minute before going in with another coat. It applied carefully and not too much it can make the lashes look really full and long. I like that this mascara is a jack of all trades, and when compared to the other Maybelline Volum' Express mascara's this one is my winner. It does dry out after about 3 months but it is still pretty great. The waterproof version is hard to remove but I also use some kind of oil on eye makeup to remove and it comes right off. Will be repurchasing for many years to come.

For a such a long time I have heard of these matte creams and have been desperate to get my hands on them. However I don't think it is living up to my expectations. I an an avid lover of matte lip products and I had been searching for a deep matte red but when I went to my local Ulta they did not have "Monte Carlo." Instead, I settled for a pink shade "Milan," which is warmed toned light-medium pink. On my NC42 skin is appears a bit light but still wearable. When I first applied this I was expecting full opacity and good coverage, but this was not the case. I wouldn't say it was sheer but it was the coverage I was anticipating. Whether that be the color or the product I am not entirely sure. It can be built up but if there is too much on the lips it begins to look cakey. When using this I make sure to blot my lips or else it goes everywhere. After about 5 minutes the product dries and leaves a matte finish. It isn't drying which is a plus and feels soft on the lips as the name implies. It does emphasize lip lines if your lips are chapped so make sure to moisturize before use. These last about 4 hours on my lips before touch up which is quite good but with eating that time dramatically decreases. Also, these do have a strong scent of sugary marshmallow or something similar. It doesn't last on the lips but I'm not in love with the scent. I think I would repurchase this in the color I originally wanted but I don't completely love this. I'd rather just buy a matte lipstick or invest in a Limecrime Veletine, which I was hoping these were like.
