    Monne Express Self Tanning Liquid

    EXCELLENT SELF TANNER! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

PHENOMENAL!!! i had watched this product being demo'd on QVC atleast a hundred times before i gave in and ordered it, and i was pretty sure it would turn out as all the other self tanners i've tried-- orange, patchy, and just generally a huge PITA with little to no reward. this comes in a little bottle, 3. 9 fl. oz., for $24.50, and is a liquid with the same consistency as water. the way i applied was to shower, exfoliate carefully, and then use a foam brush (which is basically a sponge on a stick, available at any craft store or Target/Walmart/Fred Meyer type place) which i drizzled the liquid onto and then used to spread all over my body. using the foam brush is CRUCIAL in getting a quick, easily blended application. what i do first is kind of stipple it onto my skin , then blend in large, circular motions with the foam brush. the liquid is a nice, natural bronzey/brown color, and the color guide is very helpful in making sure you have all your areas covered. it is a little much on my face, but i'm very pale, and if i really wanted to i could go out with it on (i've done it before at night). so i do use this on my face, and just apply it the same way as on my body, although you can also take your favorite moisturizer and add a few drops of the Monne, mix in your palm, and then apply as you would regularly (i do this to maintain my face color). anyways, after applying with the foam brush, i take a regular body lotion and apply to all the areas that i applied the Monne. what this does is moisturizer the skin and help any streaky areas to blend perfectly together. this is also a crucial step, imo. after that, hang out and let yourself dry. this won't be sticky or slimy, and doesn't rub off on clothes too bad, a little, but not horribly. after 3 or 4 hours (or even better, overnight) i take a shower and come out gorgeously, perfectly tan, the EXACT color i used to get when i laid out or went to the beds! even my face is perfectly tan, not a BIT of orange, just nice, golden brown (though not too golden, some ST's make me look jaundiced!). in the shower i use a really moisturizing body wash and afterwards i moisturize well to stay hydrated. after a few days the tan starts to fade evenly, no patches, no weirdness, just as normally as a regular tan from the sun would fade. i LOVE this product, and have already used it many times yet still have a TON left. i can't believe i'm the first one to review this! it is so amazing! please try it, QVC has a 30 day money-back guarantee, so if you hate it, you can always get a refund. this is a wonderful product, the best ST i've ever found!!!!!!!

toss that pencil and pick up a brush!

this is my first journey into gel eyeliner, and i must say i'm very impressed! i purchased this e/l and use it with the MAC 209 brush. it works extremely well, and i can't believe it really does stay on my waterline!!! i knew from reading reviews on it that it was supposed to, but i still couldn't believe that it stayed on even while i watched the finale of one of my favorite shows and bawled my eyes out! i'm truly amazed! it looks great going on, very black, and very smoooooth. it just glides right on and looks great, and this is coming from a person who is eyeliner-challenged. i'd say this is MUCH easier to apply than pencil or regular liquid liner. and using the brush to apply it doesn't only make it easier, it makes it more fun! you feel like an artist! not to mention the fact that this has been a real lifesaver (well, my makeup 'life') for me. i have blonde eyelashes and before this i could NEVER do the black eyeliner look because you would always see a noticeable gap between the line of the eyeliner and my mascara'd lashes (you'd see the blonde lash roots peeking out in between). it was very upsetting because i love smokey eyes and could never do them. well, since finding this and honing my skills, smokey eyes are now possible. first i use the 209 brush to paint on a very thin line as close to my lashline as possible. i let it dry for a few moments, and then i curl my lashes. after this but before mascara, i use a firm, square tipped 'push' brush to kind of push the liner into the roots of my lashes and this gets it deep enough in to cover up the blonde-ness. then i apply mascara and voila! no more gap between my roots and liner. i really hope someone else who has this problem reads this, because it has helped me so much.
