If you are annoyed with melting, gooey lipstick in warm climates, you'll welcome this product. A combination lip gloss and lipstick, the Hipstick's cometic is encased in a barrel which the user twists to cause its contents to ooze out of small holes in the applicator. No potential of broken "sticks" caused by melting lipstick in warm weather days. If you're worried about germs on the applicator, don't share your lipstick with anyone else (to counter a previous review regarding hygiene with this product!). The odor is a little different from what one would expect of a lipstick however it doesn't seem to have a strong chemical scent to which a previous reviewer alluded.
