Make Up For Ever Velvet Finish Compact Powder

Fantastic for a soft, natural finish, with controllable coverage

I purchased this product after hearing great reviews for Make Up Forever's Duo Mat and I am very happy with it. I have combination skin, as well as some skintone discoloration (I have a dark complexion) so needed good coverage with a finish that is both dewy and mat. Which this product is- it's light wearing, the coverage can be built up fantastically with little effort, and if you have uneven skintone, and combination skin, this is perfect. Although I like a powdery, mat finish, due to my dark skintone it is extremely difficult to achieve that without looking a little ashy; the degree of careful blending and contouring I needed with Duo Mat to acheive the perfect look was burdensome, so I prefer this for every day wear.

THE perfume to own

I actually signed up to tatalbeauty just so that I could give this amazing perfume the 10 stars it deserves. It is an amazing fragrance, lasts well, and has the most beautiful warm, delicate tones; in fact, I would call it a freshly romantic smell. It's fantastic for work, partying, staying at home in your robe- whatever! On the one hand, for whatever reason it was not as well publicised as some other D&G perfumes, but to be honest I am more than happy for it to remain a scent I can call my own, because I get TONS of compliments on it.
