This is an average conditioner at best. It smells like other John Frieda products with a tiny hint of mint. It left my hair shiny, but frizzy. If you must use the Root Awakening line, use the conditioner. Mint Oil and Eucalyptus are known skin irritants which does not bother me as much in the conditioner as the shampoo or detangler because it does not really contact my skin too much, just the ends of my hair and rinses out. But with the not so great performance and potential irritation and discomfort, why not try a different product altogether? There are much better, even less expensive formulations nearby on the drugstore shelf.

This product made my scalp and back itchy. It smells like John Frieda shampoo with a hint of mintiness. I am not sure what eucalyptus and mint oil does for hair, but they are known skin irritants (not good for your scalp). For that reason, you probably should use it only occasionally if ever. It also made my hair slightly frizzy.

The VaVa Vanilla smells like cream soda. The Coco Butter is sweet, buttery yet clean smelling, not really like coco butter. These did not irritate my skin. I liked the vanilla scent, but the anti-perspirant part did not work that well. I am not a sweater, but it did not keep me dry during my normal daily, non-exercise routine.

This is a very light sweet smelling floral. It lasts about 5 hours. I like the fact that it is subtle, airy, and bright. It is a great every day or fragrance to wear to the office. It is one of those that someone needs to be in your personal space to smell which is nice. All over nice and worth the try. I would wear it if someone else got it for me but would not buy it myself because it is too sweet for my taste and nothing special.

This is a good drugstore choice for a shampoo. It is pretty inexpensive, makes my fine hair shiny and soft and does not strip out my highlights. I don't buy the uv protection or antioxidant gimmick because it rinses down the drain--if it didn't, it would leave heavy deposits on your hair. I would prefer less or no fragrance, but it is not too strong or unpleasant.

I tried a sample and it made my skin red and itchy which negated any beneficial ingredients because I cannot use it. It contains a small amount of fragrance that smells kind of powdery, floral, lavendery and lasts all day which I personally did not care for. This also contains a lot of alcohol. There are much better skincare choices on the drugstore shelf.

This is a very feminine romantic floral for all of you very girly girls. I smell the lily of the valley and ylang, ylang. It is not granny-esque or overpowering or cloying. It also lasts all day. It is not necessarily one of my very favorites (Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche and Happy to Be are), but I like it and purchase it from time to time (would be perfect on a romantic date).

This is a product definitely worth trying. It is fun to play with and smells amazing. I did not think this product was for my very straight, shoulder length baby fine hair type or style. It was heavy and spiderwebby and sticky when rubbed between my hands. Surprisingly, it gave my hair a beachy, "dirty" (in a good way) look and some texture and structure without looking greasy or stringy. It was very touchable--you could run your hands through it without any stickiness or stiffness. It held my hairstyle for a few hours, and I could redo it with my fingers all through the day and it would hold. I tried it on my very reluctant husband's short conservative hairstyle. He hates hair products, but actually liked this one. This gave his hair an awesome piecey, rockstar look and, believe me, I am really hairstyling impaired. I may give this a "10" as I play with this and really figure this product out. UPDATE: I tried a tiny bit rubbed between my hands and put it on the very ends of my hair and loved it.

Love the product, HATE the packaging. You are wasting your money. The jar allows oxygen (air) into the product and quickly degrades the antioxidants you are paying for. It is also a petri dish for bacteria growth from contact with the oils on your fingers. However, if you are interested in this product, opt for the lotion which address the packaging faux pas--it really is a good product otherwise. It smooths on silky smooth and absorbs quickly, works well under all makeup, plumps lines a bit and contains spf as well as many antioxidants, emollients and products good for your skin. I would prefer this product if it was fragrance free, but the scent is light and not unpleasant. So far I have had no acne or skin reactions on my supersensitive skin. Lauder has such excellent, state of the art formulations--why can't they use common sense packaging?

This is an excellent eye cream that comes in bad packaging. The jar allows oxygen (air) in which degrades all of the excellent antioxidants you are paying for. The jar is also a petri dish for bacteria to grow when it comes in contact with the oils and germs on your fingers which is especially yucky for a product used around the eyes. If it were not for the packaging, I would give this a 9 or 10. It smooths easily over eyelids and feels silky. It absorbs quickly and works well under all of your eye makeup. It also contains ingredients to plump wrinkles a bit temporarily and is fragrance-free. It did not irritate my allergy prone skin. I would not purchase this because of the packaging.
