I've tried store brands but the cotton just comes off the tip. These are soft, gentle and strong.

I love this brow pencil and as a brunette I prefer the more taupey shade called "Lingering". It applies nicely and lasts all day.

I love NARS lipsticks because they're creamy, they last and they have a great color range. Several formulas are available to suit any need and they're very pigmented so you get great color application.

What I like about bare minerals is the claim that I'm putting something "good" on my face versus a bunch of chemical compounds. What I don't like is the same thing LipglossandSpandex said, "Messy...Not very Portable" Not that I tote my blush around but I prefer pressed powder because it doesn't make a mess of my vanity. My mom swears by all things Bare Escentuals and her vanity looks like a multi-colored rainbow powder bomb exploded by the end of the week.

I really like the texture of this gloss and the color (Plush). I'm not sure it actually plumps but it has that effect of the Lip Fusion products that create a gentle tingling sensation which seems to swell my lips very slightly. It's a little on the pricey side though which makes me hesitate buying it alone. I got mine as part of a value set.

I really like the texture and color of this powder/foundation. I use it as a powder (my color is Medium Plus) and it gives me a nice matte finish that lasts most of the day. I have very oily skin and I live it hot, humid Florida so my foundation/powder combo needs to hold up.

I like this foundation a lot, it goes on nicely and provides a great amount of buildable coverage. I have sensitive skin prone to breakouts and did not find that it irritated my skin. I'm a Light-Medium NW18 and I found that the color settled in nicely on my skin. After four hours of chasing a toddler, cooking and cleaning my face isn't greasy and shiny. I had topped it off with MAC MSF Natural in Medium Plus and I think that combination is a hit.

For me, a person who types all day, it chipped. I need a polish that truly holds up to the torture I put it through. Most premium brands hold up and was hoping for a drugstore brand. But the day after polishing my nails, I had a couple of chips. I tried it on my toes but it chipped there too. Otherwise the color went on nice and they have a great selection.

I love the variety of shades, the pigmentation is phenomenal, and I like the versatility. I own several palettes and I like that when I hit pan, all I have to do is order a replacement. There's a variety of textures as well; velvet, satin, matte, etc.
