I have used this in both the Normal/Dry skin formula and the Oily/Combination formula, at different times in my life when it was appropriate. Currently I am using the Normal/Dry skin foundation, and I am so pleased! I have been a fan of Colorstay foundation for a long time, but was worried that the different formulation wouldn't live up to my expectations. Fortunately this foundation didn't accentuate any dry patches on my skin, nor did it make my skin look oily at all. Could it be, a foundation for dry skin that isn't greasy and shiny?! Yes! However if you have very dry skin, this isn't going to give you the hydration that you need. It's better for normal skin with minor dry spots. But the best part of this foundation is it's staying power... literally all day, even in an active environment. There is a wide variety of shades for easy matching as well. This is my drugstore dupe for Estee Lauder Double Wear, and it's a VERY close dupe at that. I highly recommend!!!! -- Ask your beauty questions at DrugstorePrincess

Overall, I have had really good experiences with this hair color - I've even repurchased twice! I use this in the lightest shade, which is Sun Blonde, and I was very pleased with it. First of all, this color is not damaging to your hair in the way that other hair dyes are. It's ammonia free, meaning that it's not stripping your hair, and it doesn't smell nearly as potent. I really look for this in a dye, especially since I'm a blonde - this hair color makes my hair shiny and lustrous, and not just one flat tone - there are minor high and low lites, that give my hair dimension. My only complaint with this product is that color does fade a bit quicker than other dyes, even compared to other box dyes... but that's because it's ammonia-free. And at an average price of under $5, that's a minor downside to an overall decent hair color. -- Ask More Questions at DrugstorePrincess

I can't understand how this product gets such poor reviews... and it's only on Total Beauty that I've seen scores this low! Honestly this is definitely the best lipstain under $20. The colors are gorgeous and... instead of "not showing up" are actually almost TOO pigmented. These give an incredibly natural flush to your lips, while still being colorful and fun. They don't dry out your lips at all (especially compared to Covergirl's), and when you use the "gloss balm" on the other end, you get instant hydration, as well as a whole new look. For about $8, this is a terrific deal, and I recommend it to ALL of my followers. -- DrugstorePrincess

On my blog, I always recommend this foundation for events where the wearers will be having pictures taken - in this case, the name is appropriate. This makeup really makes the skin look positively airbrushed in photos. The mica, which some people mistake for glitter, actually deflects light from problem, dark, or sunken areas on the skin, and make your complexion look more even. This foundation is also fragrance free - a big plus for people with sensitive skin. The packaging is unique for a drugstore product - the pump is very convenient and mess-free. The foundation itself is very blendable, and a little goes a long way! My only complaint with this is that with everyday use, this foundation may break out certain people - due to the mica in it. That is why I only recommend it for special events, or as a luminizing foundation over top of problem areas, like undereye circles and around the nose. -- Ask more beauty questions at DrugstorePrincess!

Revlon seems to never disappoint me, especially when it comes to lipcolor. Their Matte lipsticks are actually a part of the SuperLustrous line, which is divided into 'matte', 'creme', 'pearle' and 'gloss' I believe. This can make the matte lipsticks harder to find, because you have to browse through the names of over 78 shades to find the matte ones! In fact this is why I only rated them a 9. Otherwise they are fantastic... the range of shades is quite impressive, in my opinion, and none of them are unflattering. There is something for every skin tone - nudes, pinks, corals and reds that are just divine. My personal favorites are Smoked Peach, Really Red, Pink Pout and Stormy Pink. They are gorgeously pigmented, without being drying, like most matte lipsticks are. They are creamy when applied, and last for quite a while. The packaging is sleek and you won't be embarrassed to pull this out of your purse! Love love love. -- Ask Beauty Questions at DrugstorePrincess!
