This has become my go to fragrance...I'm loving it. The scent is light, soft, slightly sweet and a little soapy. It gives me that 'just stepped out of the shower' feeling each time I wear it. You know it's good when you can't stop smelling your wrists!

I changed to a hair cut that could be easily styled with a blow dryer and round brush. But it required using the blow dryer for a longer period of time and I quickly realized the one I was using was just too heavy. So I started shopping for my first "professional" blow dryer. I narrowed my choices to this model and the Sedu 4000i and decided on this one because it is so lightweight. Seriously, this dryer weighs 9oz!! A smidge more than a 1/2 pound! It's also very compact in size so I no longer have to hold my hand 2 feet away from my head to accommodate for the blow dryer and concentrator nozzle. I couldn't find anything on the market that compared it this dryer in size and weight. I also liked that you can switch the iconic feature on or off, depending on if you are styling for volume or sleek & smooth. Only a few dryers I looked at offered that. The big surprise for me was not seeing the amazing difference so many reviewers speak of when switching from a drug store dryer to a professional model. Perhaps my Conair Infiniti Pro 1875 Watt wasn't such a bad dryer after all. I did see an increase in shine and my hair seemed smoother, that's all. I say that this dryer is "almost perfect" because I compromised performance for the light weight. This dryer is 1600 watts instead of the 1875 is was accustomed to. The funny thing is, it dries my hair in the same amount of time as the Conair. Don't get me wrong, I am quite happy with this blow dryer and plan to use it for years to come. But if Sedu came out with a dryer in this compact format, weighing 9 ounces that was 1875 watts it would be perfect.

Prior to getting a PMD I read tons of reviews and found a common theme among them. Those that were enjoying the device watched the included video and followed the instructions to the letter. Many of the people that had negative experiences, such a badly scratching their faces, admitted they assumed they knew what they were doing and jumped right in with no instruction or any preliminary testing. ABOUT ME: My skin is very tolerant of my experimentation and not at all sensitive. I've never had a professional microderm treatment or used any other in-home microderm device that I can compare this to. Prior to receiving the PMD I was exfoliating twice a week, one manual and one chemical treatment. I learned that PMD recommends discontinuing retinol and/or AHA treatments for 48 hours before AND 48 hours after a PMD treatment. I decided it would be less complicated to simply stop using these products a week before my device arrived and stay off of them for a few weeks to get a true feel for the results the PMD could provide. 1ST IMPRESSIONS: I've had my PMD for about 2 weeks now. It comes with everything you need to get started right away. Upon opening the box I was impressed with the appearance of the device. It looked like a high quality, well made beauty tool that will last for years. It's just the right weight and felt comfortable in my hand. I unpacked the rest of the box and was somewhat disappointed that there was no storage bag included to keep the small parts contained. So I've been repacking everything in the box and keeping it on my vanity until I have an opportunity to buy a cosmetic bag for it. 1ST TREATMENT: I sat down with the paper instructions and the 10 minute DVD instructional video and spent the next 20 minutes making sure I had a good understanding of how to use the device. The white training tip comes pre-installed so I simply needed to attach the power cord to get started. As suggested, I took the device to my forearm first for several minutes. This gave me a feel for how much suction the device had and how to gently glide the PMD over my skin without losing the suction or getting the device stuck in one area. *I highly recommend everyone perform this step*. Then I took the device to my face, starting at my right jawbone and working my way up my cheek making just a single pass. I was being very cautious and figured I could always follow up with a second pass later, as opposed to having no recourse if I overdid it from the start. Hold your skin taunt with your free hand, place the device against your skin until you have suction and gently glide it across your skin. There is really NO need to apply pressure, just let the device do the work. I did my entire face with the white tip without a problem until I came to my nose. It was difficult to maintain suction in this area and I wish the video had spent some time on this. I checked the PMD website hoping there may be additional videos that include help with the nose, but there weren't any. Perhaps I just need more practice. I didn't see much of a result after using the white training tip, so I switched to the blue tip and went over my entire face again, once again just making a single pass. I could definitely feel the device working more with the blue tip. When I finished I went over my face with toner and admired the rosy glow from the treatment. My skin felt baby soft, similar to the way it would feel after using Philosophy's Microdelivery Vitamin C Peel. The Philosophy result was always temporary, but my face remained super soft for days after using the PMD. I had no trouble with the PMD getting "stuck" in one place or with it leaving any red scratch marks on my face. 2ND TREATMENT: I stepped up to the green tip for my second treatment, again doing a single pass. I followed up with a single pass with the blue tip because I felt my skin could handle more. I did a little better around my nose this time, figuring out to push the tip of my nose in the opposite direction from the side I was treating and that by scrunching my nose I was able to get some suction down the bridge. The green tip didn't feel much different than the blue tip though and my results were the same glowing, soft skin. I should mention that I didn't see any little piles of white dead skin cells on my face during either treatment as they show in the video, and make quite a production about if you've ever seen this device presented on a popular home shopping network. I felt the PMD was working as expected despite this. REPLACEMENT TIPS: Planning to continue on with the PMD, I ordered replacement tips in green and red. I compared the new green tips to the ones that came with the kit and I was a little surprised by how much more "grit" the new tips had. The replacement tip box is designed in a way to keep the tips separated, whereas they were all together in a single plastic bag in the kit and I think they may have worn themselves down due to the constant contact. PMD may want to consider packaging them differently so they remain true. CONCLUSION: Overall, I am very impressed with this tool and how simple it is to use. I would certainly recommend it to my friends. I had developed an allergic reaction around my mouth to the manual exfoliation scrub I was using and had to discontinue it. I love that I can get a deeper exfoliation from this device with no potential for that type of reaction. I am very much looking forward to seeing the results of continued use!

I never thought I'd go back to liquid foundation. But after BareMinerals made my skin dull and Laura Geller's Balance & Brighten started accentuating pores I didn't know I had, I knew it was time for a change. I'll admit that I didn't shop around. I happened to have a sample pack from UD handy with 4 colors and the color matching chart and one of them matched me perfectly. It felt great on my skin and I bought it the same day. I am sure this foundation is buildable, but I like the light to moderate coverage I get from a single application. I didn't want a full coverage, heavy looking foundation and this fit the bill. If you're looking for full coverage in a single coat, this probably isn't the foundation for you. I apply it with the Good Karma Optical Blurring brush and it makes my skin look simply flawless. The finish is perfect for me...not too matte, but not dewy either. I've been wearing it without a primer, applied after my moisturizer has set in for a bit, and it's gone at least 6 hours looking fresh without setting powder or touch ups. If I had a need to wear it longer I expect I would need some powder.

I was all about UD eyeliners until they started dragging across my eye one day leaving patches of color in their wake. Not a good look! These Stila twist-up liners glide on so smooth. I get great coverage in a single sweep and the liner stays put whether I do some blending or not. The only downside is that they don't last long for the $20 price tag.

This is my go to product if I want to use an abrasive-type exfoliant. It smells wonderful and makes my skin so soft afterward. The container is a good size and the product seems to last when used once a week or so.

I have the styling creme to match the scent of each cleansing conditioner I use...except Winter Vanilla Mint because they don't make it. :( The Lavender is my favorite because it adds volume and I love the smell of it. I use it differently than directed though. After I have towel dried my hair for about 5 minutes, I mix 3 pumps of styling creme with 6 sprays of the Volumizing Treatment in the palm of my hands and distribute it though my hair. I find that I get better hold from the products when used this way, and the product is not wasted in my towel like it would be if I used right after I cleansed.

This is probably the formula everyone starts with when they decide to try WEN. It smells good and gave this amazing tingle to my scalp. Lavender has since become my favorite because of the volume I get from it, but I still go back to Sweet Almond Mint for that tingling sensation. I'm surprised at all the bad reviews this product gets when I've had really great results. I've learned that this is a trial and error product...you need to find the best formula for your hair type (each scent is different), then determine how many pumps works best for you (the recommended 40 is ridiculous!) and how long you should leave it on. My hair is half way down my back and I use 20-22 pumps and leave it on for 15-30 minutes. Then I rinse like crazy, then rinse some more and add 2-3 pumps as a leave in. My hair is shiny and full of volume..never weighed down or greasy...and I only need to cleanse twice a week.

I like to use a remoist once a week. I have tried the Sweet Almond Mint and Pomegranate, but the Lavender is my favorite. It just seems to add more volume. After I cleanse, I add enough remoist to saturate my hair and then clip it up on top of my head for at least an hour. The result is super soft, shiny, manageable and moisturizer hair.

I use this in conjunction with the WEN cleansing conditioners to add extra volume and hold to my hair. It works especially well when added to the styling creme. Just put 2 or 3 pumps of styling creme in your palm and add 6 or so sprays of the volumizing treatment, mix together and distribute though out your hair.
