I’ve been using makeup wipes as my “cleanser” for my whole life. Recently I wanted to switch up my skin care routine due to a few breakouts I’ve been having. I purchased this product at a discount, just because I loved the way it smelled and it said it was good for all skin types. The cleanser smells so good, it smells like a spa in my opinion. It’s minty and fresh, I can’t get enough of it. The only thing I didn’t like about this is it seemed to dry my skin out a bit right after I use it. But once I apply my moisturizer this quickly goes away and my skin is back to normal. I normally have combination skin so it’s not uncommon for products to dry me out. I like the creamy texture and how there is a light lather when I use it. Overall, this product is very nice and I’ll continue using it in my daily routine.

Love, love, love is all I can say about Tanceuticals! I recently got married in Jamaica and this was the self tanner (the CC one) I used to give myself a beautiful glow. I actually ordered the product about 3 weeks before the big day. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of time to test it out just in case it didn't work on me. My love affair with this self tanning lotion began as soon as I opened the bottle and the wonderful coconut smell hit my nose :) It seriously smells awesome. I actually bought the mitt with my order because it gave ne free shipping. This lotion is very "light" and went on very easy. Blended it wasn't a problem either. At first I was a little worried because it doesn't have any guide color to it. But it didn't take long to figure out. It dried super fast and didn't get all over my towels which most of these products do. I applied this at night and was super excited that my sheets weren't all disgusting with remnant color. If you've ever used a self tanner before you know what I'm talking about! Anyway when I woke up the next day and showered, I had a beautiful tan which was just perfect for me. It was very smooth and very natural looking. Definitely one of the best shades I've ever gotten from a bottle and a trillion times better than what I can do in the sun (which is nothing since I'm very pale). On me it lasted about 5 days before it started to come off. Because this one was darker than most other self tanners I used, I had to really exfoliate on day 6 to get it all off. I then just reapplied as before. The results were so good for this 2 week "experiment" that I decided to use this 2 days before my wedding. The results this time were just as good and added to the beauty of everything that went on that day :)

This product was a small step up form Lorac’s Gradual Self Tanner, but it still wasn’t my favorite. I found the color to be too “fake” looking for me. I ended up looking a very dark shade of orange. Not exactly the natural look I was going for. I was looking (and still am) for a good bronzer to use all over my body to give me a natural looking bronze glow. This one definitely didn’t live up to my expectations. The smell is also kind of hard to get over. It smells like baby powder to me, and it is VERY strong. The good thing is that it’s not as messy as Lorac’s gradual self tanner, and it is way easier to apply. There was also a very noticeable shimmer/glittery look to this product that I didn’t like either. Like I said, I was going for a natural look, and this product just didn’t cut it.

After seeing all the positive reviews on YT for this self tanner, I decided to give it a try. Only later did I find out that all those "reviews" are sponsored by the company (and therefore biased)! Anyway, I had a heck of a time actually getting the company to send me my order. I never received a confirmation email. Bottom line, I had to contact them several times just to get my order sent to me. Once I did receive it, I'd say the end result was mediocre at best. Applying this product was an absolute nightmare. It is very thick and very dark. Blending it in took FOREVER. And once it was done, it got on everything as it was drying. My towels, sheets, and clothes looked like a mess. I put this on before going to bed and when I woke up the next morning, the color was definitely kind of orange. It was also a little streaky (which I attribute to the difficulty in applying this self tanner). The one, and maybe only, thing I liked about this product was the smell. It has an almond-cherry smell that I actually like quite a bit. But everything else about my experience with this self tanner was negative. The company could definitely stand to improve their customer service!

I'm a big fan of Clinique Self Sun. It gives me a really nice, bronze color and actually smells good. It lasts for about 4-5 days and doesn't "streak" off like many other self tanning products. And for less than $25, it's tough to beat this tanner :)

This product gets a lot of hype, but it didn't work very well for me. During application, it comes out very thick and messy. I had a difficult time blending it in and making it look not ridiculous. It takes awhile to dry but that's not uncommon for many self tanning lotions. Because it's tinted, you can expect it to get all over your clothes and sheets until you shower. The color I got from this was just ok. My biggest complaint is it seemed to darken moles and skin discolorations. Not all self tanners do that. The one thing I really liked about this product was the smell. They actually do a pretty good job of masking that 'DHA smell' that many self tanners have. Overall I wasn't that impressed with Beautisol, especially considering it's sky-high price!
