I was neither over nor under impressed by this shampoo. I typically avoid shampoos with strong scents, and this had a light scent, but it was an almost chemical smell, which wouldn't be a good selling point for those who do like their shampoos to smell. I do have color treated hair, but I take care of it, don't wash it every day, don't use drying electronics on it every day, etc. so I don't know for sure whether it prolonged my color, but one thing I was very surprised at was the fact that it had sulfates in it. As a shampoo that touts itself as "professional" and color safe, I would think that it wouldn't have such harsh, bad for you chemicals in it. My hair hasn't been noticeably better or worse after using this. As long as it has sulfates in it, though, I will not purchase it.
