I have the B. Kamins Diatomamus Earth Masque for Dry to Normal Skin, although I think it's better suited for combination skin and for that reason I use it exclusively in my T-zone. It would be too drying for other areas of my face. Nothing does a better job to gently remove blackheads and shrink the appearance of pores! This is expensive and I'd prefer it in a tube than a jar but I've yet to find a substitute that works as well.

I've used this mascara on and off for ten years but my loyal love affair with Definicils has expired. The pros: This makes my lashes beautifully long and defined with no clumps and it never smears, flakes or smudges - it's even somewhat water-resistant. The cons: It starts out too wet, which means I'm often cleaning up little globs of mascara on my eyelids, then it dries too hard and stiff, making it impossible to add another coat later on if you want to touch-up your makeup for evening. I like the brush, and it lasts a long time without drying out but the pros don't justify the cost given how many other mascara options are out there.

Who could resist trying this cult-status product in the adorable purple genie bottle? This works well to give eye shadow a crease-proof grip but since it has a clear, thick gel consistency it doesn't conceal any discoloration on lids. Given the quantity of youtube video's demonstrating how to cut the tube open to access most of the product, you'd think they'd get a clue and come out with a redesign! For this reason alone I won't repurchase...I hear Too Faced Shadow Insurance has the same ingredients in an easier to use tube.

This is just OK for me - I find it sticky, goopy and I don't really like the smell - sort of sweet and chemical at the same time. Colours are beautiful, but with so many better options out there this one just isn't worthy.

Chanel Glossimer comes in beautiful colours, [my favorite is Pagoda - a neutral pinky/mauve with slight shimmer], feels creamy not sticky and lasts about as long as you can expect lipgloss to last. Perfection!

I'm not a fan of waterproof mascaras this one is a definate standout! I love the rubber-bristled brush, it separates lashes beautifully and never smears or clumps. This mascara has great consistency and wear - my lashes don't fall our or feel hard and crunchy after I apply it. Lasts forever. I get a natural look with this, more length than volume. Highly recommend it and will definately repurchase.
