Strengthening and condition is major. I am certain that it has helped me with strengthening because I am not loosing hair in the shower. As far as conditioning goes...it is a good conditioner. This product leaves my hair managable and soft, but I have had others do better with adding moisture.

Cleanse, detangles and smoothes. Hair looks and feel great before conditioning. I was looking for a product with out sodium laureth sulfate , and this product does not lack the ingredient. It works just as well. Plus I enjoy the lather.

My stylist suggested this product to me. It started to condition my hair just a little after using the Oatmeal and Honey Treatment Shampoo. After rinsing this product out, it had not conditioned my hair at all. I was so upset with my wet tangled, wavy locks. I did not have many split ends if any before using this system, but after using the pair for three days I had hard, frizzy hair with visible split ends.

I used this product with the intention of having healthy, clean, protein infused hair. My hair did not get as clean as I wanted it, and it did not feel any stronger. I used the Oatmeal and Honey conditioner expecting it to back up the shampoo and it did not do much at all. The system made my hair harder, thicker looking, did not luster, and I did not repair a strand. It was my fault that I tried it for three days.

u can give it a try. Alterna has a spray that is also a straightener , but it made my hair feel like it had a film on it. This worked much better on the straightening side. I am giving it a seven because it seemed to strengthen my hair while leaving it very dry and not as soft as some less expensive balms. My hair does not perform it's best when using this product.

You can use before blowdrying or you can dampen your roots and apply. Either way you are going to get the lasting volume you want without a stiff hold. I use it with smoothing or straightening products that deliver straight and sleek hair with no volume.

I love trying new smoothing products. I really love this one. I had some some really bad damage to my hair that had began to dry out my hair. This happened to be the only smoothing product I had in my home that was like a cream to blow dry my hair with. I blew on section dry and saw that I wanted more shine so I cocktailed it with Kenra's shine serum. My hair has been shiny and super straight for three extremely humid days.

My niece had come to spend a week with me and her hair looked like it had not been properly combed or washed in a long time, so I gave myself the task of washing and styling the 2year old's gorgeous, long, tangled hair. Washing and rinsing was a huge fight ,but my ultimate problem was getting the tangles out of her hair. After shampooing and conditioning, I still needed a conditioner. I searched in my bathroom closet and found this. It helped me untangle her hair and condition it. During the last rinse on this product I realized her long hair was even longer. It was past the center of her back. Without this product I would not have been able to detangle or even think of completing her hair. Styling is another story.

We fell in love. I have never used this product with it's shampoo. We only purchased the conditioner, but it worked wonders. Not a tangle could be found, and we had soft and silky hair that didn't need to much work afterwards. I used it throughout my pregnancy ,and during this time I did not use any chemicals( relaxers or color treatments) on my hair. This product transformed my newly dull, extra dry, and damaged hair into beautifully hydrated hair. It made my wavy hair so much easier to manage plus it kept it healthy. My hair grew 11 inches during the 9 months. Yes, it lasted that long and some. I only give it a nine for the price.

I tried this product along with AVEENO Nourish+Soothe Shampoo. The two together did not do me much justice. I am used to taking a wide tooth comb through my hair while the conditioner is in my hair. With this conditioner I still had tangles and it never really felt more conditioned. my hair texture was the same as when i used the shampoo. This product also claims to repair damage, give hair life, smooth hair, strengthen, soften, and add shine. It did not smooth my hair like other product have. I ended up with my natural wavy/curly hair when it was dry. I had just had a hair cut last week ,and I did not have any damage to repair but when i combed through my hair there was a lot of sheding that I am not used to seeing. I am not pleased.
