Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3

No exfoliation here!

I'm surprised with the good reviews it has received it claims to be an exfoliant but when you take a closer look at the ingredients there is nothing in this which can actually exfoliate. The three main ingredients are; water, alcohol and with hazel. Sure it might be a good post-cleanse toner but it doesn't really keep its exfoliating promises. For me it only stings terribly upon application and using it on other areas than my t-zone only dries my skin. On the bright side I like the colorful packaging which is nice!

Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant

Gentle it is!

I really like this product, I bought it to exfoliate my sensitized acne-prone skin which shouldn't be exfoliated with ordinary scrubs. It does what it promises, and initially my skin was left soft smooth and exfoliated. Now after a few month's use I think my skin has grown a bit tougher or something. While the skin still is very soft after use there is still some flakiness and dullnes left after use. To sum it up this product is great for those who want a really gentle exfoliation!

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel

Keeps its promises but it's just a cleanser

Here we have nothing but a really good foaming facewash, still I love it! The fragrance is very light and natural, it foams well and unless you remove makeup you're only going to need a little. I've had my 250ml bottle since february and it is in the middle of august now, still having about a fourth left. Other than that it is a very gentle yet effective cleanser, makes your skin feel clean without any tightness. The price is a bargain considering how little you actually need and how long it lasts. Definitely recommended for those with combination skin and mild to moderate acne!
