Just a delicious smelling conditioner with ultimately no benefits to using it rather than just giving it a sniff and moving on. I love the scents in the newer Herbal Essences product line, but the fact that pretty much every single product I've tried has left my hair feeling oily says it all.

...in any way. It leaves a film in my hair with repeated use that almost feels like melted butter -- oily, and impossible to wash away. Just awful. I used to be very into the old Herbal Essences products, but these new formulas simply do not work, across the board.

Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Leave-in Split-End Protector for Long Hair
Nope! Not For Me...
Left an awful buildup in my hair. It simply did not feel good to leave this in, and did nothing for the overall condition of my hair. The scent, like most other Herbal Essences products, was wonderful, but that was the extent of the pros list for this product.

Smells awesome, and actually works well without adding a greasy residue to my hair. I liked this product a lot, and did notice my hair looking shiny and feeling smooth after using it.

Awesome scent, but this stuff actually made my hair feel smooth and manageable unlike some of their other products. It worked for me really well as an occasional use, but wouldn't be something I would use every day (especially because of the problems I've had with some of the other products in the Herbal Essences line).

But that isn't saying too much. I found that the shampoo caused a lot of build up in my hair, and did nothing to extend my color. The same is true for the conditioner, though it does a decent job of helping with my dry ends. Ultimately, as much as I enjoy Herbal Essences scents, I'm not a fan of how they work.

Herbal Essences products tend to leave my hair feeling gunky after a couple of uses. They usually smell incredible, but almost none of the formulas actually do as they promise, and this is no exception. I don't notice my color lasting longer while using this product. Overall, they're better for sniffing than they are for using, in my opinion.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner
Adds Moisture, Smells Great... But Causes Buildup...
It does add a bit of moisture to my dry ends, but it also tends to cause buildup and leave a greasy residue, as is true of a lot of the products in the Herbal Essences line. The scent of this one is one of my favorites, but it doesn't work right for me at all. Using the shampoo and conditioner separately works better than the 2-in-1 though.

As what I experienced with the 2-in-1 version of this product, except the 2-in-1 product was worse for me. Herbal Essences used to be much better, back before they came out with this new formula. Whatever they are doing differently now completely messes up my hair. I have a dry scalp and dry ends, but my hair also tends to get oily. I normally use a hydrating shampoo/conditioner on my ends, and was hoping this would do the trick. It doesn't. It smells amazing but is completely ineffective when it comes to adding moisture. It also causes a lot of buildup in my hair, even if I only use it on my ends. Ultimately, it's not the product for me.

But it leaves a nasty residue on my hair if I use it exclusively. I find this is the case with a number of Herbal Essences products, especially the 2-in-1 formulas. I use this products on my ends when they get really dry occasionally, and it does add moisture, but it's not worth the build up to use it regularly.
