Somewhat hydrating. Kind of greasy.

This surprised me, because I don't always love Strivectin products. Despite containing retinol, it left my skin feeling totally hydrated the next morning. Plus, the texture's not too heavy or greasy, and there's no distracted fragrance. I like the double-duty aspect as well.

I like to use a cleanser with a chemical exfoliant prior to using physical exfoliants to loosen up my skin cells and help the scrub work better (this is a tip I read somewhere -- who knows, maybe it was on TotalBeauty!), so I appreciated that this exfoliant delivered both. Though the exfoliating granules were a touch large for my liking, this scrub did leave my skin feeling incredibly soft without irritating it at all. Solid product.

This left my hair feeling more conditioned than if I'd used a regular conditioner. It's very thick in texture and felt moisturizing.

This product conditions hair well, I suspect thanks in part to its very thick texture. Problem is, it's so thick, it's a little tough to get out of the bottle, and I found it a bit challenging to distribute through my hair.

Wow this formula is creamy -- I can definitely see the appeal for this lipstick (which really wears more like a hyper-pigmented lip balm). The taste is nice too. However, it does not live up to its claims of delivering HD color in one swipe. It took some doing to get an even later, and it does wear off fast.

Pros: Pretty shimmer and pigment (though not a huge color payoff). Cons: Produces some fall-out and doesn't last all day.

I really liked this at first -- it's rare to find a matte lipstick that's so comfortable and non-drying. However, I found that it rubbed off quite quickly. Within two hours it had faded in the center, and within three hours it was pretty much gone.

When I used this before blow-drying and styling my hair, it did reduce frizz and make my hair feel silkier.
