I tried this product for a month and noticed ZERO difference. Also, putting Vitamin C so close to my eyes irritated them and made them water. Just when I was ready to give up I accidentally knocked over the little bottle (while I was holding the stopper) and lost the rest of it anyway. I'm a pump girl. No fuss -- no muss.

For my money I like something with a little moisture. This formula may be natural but it's sticky and smells strange. Also, the color doesn't look even. I've been using Softlips since high school and I still love it. I doesn't have an color but the formula is much smoother and makes my lips feel more moist.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Powerful Sun Protection SPF 45 Sunscreen Cream
A bit thick but reliable coverage
I like sunscreens which physical blocks (typically zinc) in them but you can’t escape their whitish tinge. In the long run I’d rather be a bit white on the beach with fewer wrinkles and sunspots in my twilight years – thankyouverymuch. With my fair skin and freckles I tested this SPF Cream over Memorial Day weekend in Montauk Long Island and I DID NOT BURN. I didn’t even turn red! Also, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that it’s OIL FREE and has added antioxidants and moisturizers. The bottle says that it is waterproof for up to 80 minutes – I believe it but have not yet tested it in the water yet. For fair skinned ladies you cannot beat this product.

First I love the nozzle on this mist -- it sprays really fine so you get a luxurious spa feel. Second it is chocked full of soothing ingredients, like aloe, green tea and cucumber. You can tote it to the beach with you, like those Evian sprays, but I like to keep mine stashed in the fridge. After a day in the sun I like to mist my face and chest with the cool spray. mmm! It is more expensive than the Evian spray but you get all those soothing ingredients.

I know this product is a splurge but I consider it two products for the price of one. It's really cleared up my adult acne and also it has a smooth texture -- similar to the Smashbox Primer. I find that when I use this product in the mornings my foundation goes on much smoother. I feel like most acne treatments are only appropriate for nighttime use but this one wears great during the day too.

I've tried lots of oil-free moisturizers and this one is far and away my favorite. It has a great texture that just sinks into my skin and it travels well. At one ounce I can carry it on board planes and it's spill-proof (I'm always loosing caps). I'd love to see a version of this with SPF but in the mean time I am content to layer. I get it at www.mdskincare.com because they don't charge shipping if you register with them.
