Learning how to use this does involve a bit of trial and error. I shave the bar with a sharp knife...and mix with hot but not boiling water to mix into a paste about the texture of yugurt. The smell is very organic. Though I didn't dislike it at all! Once the henna has thoroughly dried on all the hair, about 6 hours for me, You can rinse. Rinse, rinse, rinse. Takes me about 30 minutes to really find it is all out. My hair has never been softer, and the color is delicious. In the sunlight, people always comment about my color. I use the 2 parts of the marron and 1 part of the rouge..and the color is a lovely auburn! Well worth the mess the first time using it. Stick with it and teach yourself how to mix and apply..you will never be sorry.

The smell is delicious.- I love the solid shampoos that Lush makes. Not having to deal with the waste of plastic bottles, as well as the fact that this small disk lasts as long as a huge 16 oz bottle of shampoo. Imagine taking your shampoo through security at the airport with no worries about taking too many liquids! This particular one does make hair very soft. If you have coarse hair this would be great.

If you are finding that you have hair loss from sudden stress, or after pregnancy...I suggest this shampoo. First off the solid Lush shampoos are perfection! No mess, no huge bottles, no waste. And great for travel, as they are not the liquid that the TSA seems so afraid of these days. This shampoo lathers like a demon with only 3 swipes on damp hair. I will say that you will likely need a conditioner as my hair was a bit straw-like after. But I truly found that my hair was growing back more quickly and was full while it was growing back in. Post-pregnancy drop in hormones? This is the shampoo to use.

I have used this for 3 of the eight weeks and had to take time to review it. Not only is it really giving me amazing results, but it is easy as pie to use! I am 44 years old, and my skin has not been this smooth and luminescent since I was in my teens. There are only two steps, and neither are time consuming or messy. I wash my face, pat dry with a towel and I am ready to spend 2-3 minutes massaging my face with these two steps. Rinsing is easy as well. I use a washcloth and warm water and the product rinses off like a dream. My face gets a dark pink, not red...and warm while using, but by the time I am done rinsing my face is cool and calm once again. I recommend this to anyone over the age of 35. I have never looked fresher.

This did absolutely nothing. That's ok, I wasn't expecting magic. But still. How can one imagine they can detoxify a body through the soles of your feet? A waste of money, because they were messy and not relaxing in the least!

This scent is light and fresh, and really smells like you were walking in a spring field of lowers, not wearing a "perfume". Men like this when I wear it!

If your skin is sensitive, or thin...try another product. This smells great! Looks funky on your face..which is sort of fun, actually. But be aware, it is a serious scrub. It is very rough, and does a good job of getting really tough on the first few layers of skin.

Does just as it should, it stains your lips. Doesn't wear off like lipstick. Love this!
