  • Mary Kay TimeWise 3-In-1 Cleansing Bar (with soap dish)

I LOVE this bar soap/cleanser! I never really liked to face my face with the regular cleansers that feel too greasy and don't lather at all. This soap has the same benefits of the bottled cleansers all in an old-fashioned bar soap! After cleaning my face with this, my face feels squeaky clean! I also find this easier to use than the bottled cleansers as I usually tend to pour too much of that stuff and wasting it. With this bar soap, I never waste any because I lather it in my hands first to get enough bubbles/foam for my face. It's really long lasting and the little beads are a bonus!!! A tip with the soap dish: I wash the soap dish with some diluted dish-wash soap (I put a little amount in those bath&body foaming liquid soap bottles with lots of water to use it to wash my glasses everyday) and hot water once in a while if there is any soap residue build up. I also place it on top of the corner of my makeup tray so that any water in the dish soap drains and stays dry! This way, you don't need to worry about bacterial build-up! Btwn. the bottled cleansers are too messy!!

Can't stand the smell and result not so impressive

Ugh! The stench!! It smells like an incense or indian food. Even after rinsing, my hair smelled so horrible - a musky, earthy smell. All day long, I walked around smelling like one of those hippie, incense stores. Since it was so expensive, and being unreturnable, I used it about five more times. However, I saw no improvement in hair texture or shine. Finally, unable to stand the strong stench of incense, it now sits under the sink. It's definately not worth the price...i've used better products at a much lower price!

  • Abba Pure Curl Conditioner

    Abba Pure Curl Conditioner

Smells like plastic and without a doubt leaves hair coated with plastic residue

The shampoo is more like one of those "shampoo+conditioner in 1", meaning that it leaves hair silky like it's been conditioned and not at all clean. I can't stress this enough - It did not clean my hair at ALL! It smells like children's vitamin C smell to it...gross! The conditioner smells like Barbie's hair... synthetic, plastic, and silicone-y. To match the smell, the result it gave my hair was...surprise!...coated with a weird plastic-like residue. I had some residue left on my hands, and it left a thin film of plastic or whatever it was so that the water that touched my hand (in the shower) just rolled off. Once I walked out of the shower and towel dried my hair, it felt soooooo~ heavy and weighed down. I have wavy hair, so the weight of the conditioner robbed me of my natural waves and made it sag like stringy pieced of rubber...rubber is exactly what my hair felt like after shampooing and conditioning with these products. In addition, my hair felt so greasy as if I hadn't washed it for a whole week!! ABBA claims it doesn't test on animals, but perhaps that's not such a good thing for the consumers. Because obviously, their product is the worst I have ever used and is far worse than the significantly cheaper drug store brands. VERY disappointed with ABBA. Both the conditioner and shampoo are going back to the store, and I will definately NOT repurchase.

Phyto 9 Nourishing Day Cream With 9 Plant Extracts

leaves a weird white film after dried

I use this with the phytocyane. I just leave it in my damp hair after a shower and let my hair air dry. But once my hair completely dries, it leaves my hair very dried out with a weird white residue on the ends of my hair. Instead of moisturizing, it coats the hair with a film that weighs down hair. I have not noticed any improvement in hair texture after using the whole tube. I've tried leave in conditioner/creams from pantene better than this at a much lower price! Definately disappointed!

  • PHYTO Phytocyane Revitalizing Shampoo For Women With Grapeseed Procyanidins and Ginkgo Biloba

I paid more than I usually would (for a shampoo) for this one, and after using up a whole bottle of this, I saw no difference in hair loss. Before I bought this shampoo, I had been taking biotin and GNC nourishair and had seen some new growth along the hairline, and I decided to add this shampoo to my regime for a faster result. However, I lost more hair while using this product and lost lots of the new grown hairs!!! Grrrr~!!! It left my hair dry as hay and heavy. Also, the design of the bottle is very poor that it's easy to spill the content, which, unlike traditional shampoos, is a runny liquid. It does lather well, but it does not do what it claims at such an expensive price. I will NEVER purchase this product again and I wish I could get my money back!! I'd give this item a zero rating if I could!
