My daughter came down with a nasty case of sore, cracked lips this week. I've heard great things about Burt's Bees balms so I decided to pick one up. She's not a mint fan nor a "tingly" fan, so I grabbed the honey one. I tried it first and was okay with it. It seemed a bit thick and thought it would tug at my lips, but it actually went on pretty smooth. The scent was okay for me. I can see how it wouldn't be for everyone, but I kind of liked it. My daughter, on the other hand, thought it was nasty. But she used it anyways. She was glad she did. Now she's okay with the smell and found that it was very healing for her lips. They were smooth and no longer cracked in less than two days. It's great just before bed. I would say this scent is hit or miss for most, but for what it does, it was a home run.

I was looking for a natural face cleanser that wouldn't dry out my skin now that the cold weather is here. I read the reviews on this and picked up a tube last week. The price is good for the amount you get, and you use very little. I love the scent but it's strong. So strong, at times, it makes my eyes water. I found if you wet your face a bit more and use a bit less, this helps. It cleanses gently and thoroughly without irritating my sensitive skin. At first the jury was out on this, but now I'm thinking it's a must have for my skin this winter! (Note: It works much better if you can remove it with a washcloth instead of just splashing with water. It doesn't leave your face greasy this way, and is still gentle without drying)

I love the smell! It's definitely beyond other medicine-scented rich hand creams. But the jar is pretty small for the price, and although it does make my hands soft, I don't find it much different than other rich products I've tried. I might buy it again for the scent alone, but most likely not.

I got a bunch of these as a gift with purchase set from UD and I really love them. The kit is cute because you get 10 different shades of the gloss. But the one that is almost gone first is the clear (ozone). It goes on thick but does last for a good long time. I love the hint of mint in it too. Great topper to my thicker, drier long lasting lipsticks. Keeps the lips moisturized mucho much!

High End Color, Drug Store Price!
With the new bold colors of fall now in fashion, I was looking for a BOLD brown shade with last power but now overly expensive. While browsing through my local drug store, I saw these lip colors. I bought the dark brown shade and put it on right in the car. I love it! The color is rich and true, and it has stay power. It's creamier than a lipstick, but not sticky like many glosses. I love the scent too (kind of cotton candy-ish). I went out the next day and purchased a wine shade! A great find that won't break the bank.

My face if more finicky than a cat! This was THE first "high end" cleanser that has not irritated my skin. It cleans thoroughly without drying. I still use eyemakeup remover, however. A little goes a long way, but I'm still not sure if it is completely worth the price. For now, I'm going to try it through the rough days of winter and see if my skin stays happy!

AWESOME mascara! If you are looking for a drug store mascara with awesome stay power, power black color, and no flaking/smudging/running, this is the mascara for you. Makes your lashes killer long and separates each lash perfectly. Doesn't flatten out curled lashes either. Not over powering in the "plumping" department, but makes your lashes stand out without looking "pimped out". I wear contacts and it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. Comes off easily with waterproof remover. I've cried through it, been rained on, sweated all over it, and it doesn't move. And sooo reasonably priced compared to other high end mascaras that do the same thing...or less! A must have in any mascara fanatic's makeup drawer!

I already had a warm bronze toned lip stain so I wanted one along the cool/pink line. I like Stila's other lip glosses and glazes so I figured this one might be good. I'm not a huge "cherry flavor" fan, but it seemed tolerable. I love the pen design, like other Stila products although for the "newbies" it can be hard to master. It's VERY cherry scented so if you like cherry popsicles, you'll be thrilled. What I didn't like is that it is bright...REALLY bright! And it stains your lips for a long long time. And that brightness doesn't fade. I wasn't too happy about looking like a 3 year old who had drank a gallon of cherry kool-aid. And it is almost impossible to neutralize with any other lipsticks, glosses or stains. If that's what you are looking for, you found your product. If not, stay away!!

I had been looking for this lip stain for the longest time because I wanted the warm bronze shade. I finally found it on clearance with a local store and bought it. Typical, I fell in love with it, and now I can no longer get it. It goes on like a pen...more like a sharpie marker...and it lasts and lasts. You better like the shade you put on because it isn't coming off for a long time! I like that it is an awesome stain base for lip glosses . I'm sad to see this one gone. They had a good thing with this item.

A lot of pencil for a little money! These pencils are not just great for lining but are awesome for regular lip coloring too. They go on super creamy with no tugging. They also sharpen very easily and last a while (for a cheap, small pencil!) I prepared my lips with a hint of foundation/powder around the edges before putting on this liner and had no problems with bleeding or feathering. What I do love the most is that they come in a great variety of shades. What I don't love is that often the shades I want or love are out of stock. My favorite color of all is #114 Nude. It gives you that color that all the models have in the magazines...the perfectly nude colored lips topped with mega gloss. I use it as a liner then fill in as a color. It's also a great shade as a base to different gloss shades. I like this pencil alot. Will continue to buy!
