This is very reasonably priced, and I find that it doesn't hurt my eyes when I remove eye makeup. I use powder eye shadow and non-waterproof mascara, so your results may be different if you use eyeliner and waterproof mascara. However, I think I need to switch to the more gentle formula for winter, because my skin feels a little drier than it did when I used this during summer. It doesn't cause my skin to break out, it doesn't have a strong fragrance, and it feels so clean.

I was realistic enough to know that this product would not give me lips like Angelina Jolie. I knew that my lips would still be thin, but I hoped they'd look a bit fuller. All it did was burn and sting, felt really goopy, and although it made my lips shiny, they didn't look fuller at all. I couldn't kiss my husband with this sticky mess on my lips, and I didn't care for the smell. The only thing I liked about it was the applicator. Try it before you buy, or get a sample.

I was apprehensive when the woman at Sephora suggested this product. When I think "shimmer", I think sparkly/glittery. That would be fine if I were sixteen, but I'm in my thirties. I don't want to look like I'm trying to look like a teenager, so I almost said no to the shimmer. I figured, what the heck, and allowed the woman to apply it to my face. Wow! It gave me a nice glow and my face didn't seem so red, and it wasn't sparkly/glittery at all. It gives my face a nice pop of color. I haven't used it as an eye shadow yet, but I'll try it that way.
