After trying another Garnier putty and hating it, my husband and I tried this one and we both really like it. He has short hair and I have long, layered, fine but thick hair that I like to wear loosely curled or go with my natural wave. I also have bangs that i sweep to the side and use this to get them to stay swept and prevent those flyaways from tickling my forehead. If you're looking for a product that provides that piecey look, dry but still textured, and light hold without being crunchy, sticky, or greasy, then try this one. If I rush and try to put it in my hair without really rubbing it into my hands first, pieces can clump in my hair. But I just take a little extra time and get it all worked into my hands and it's not a problem for me.

My husband and I shared this product. He has short hair and I have long, layered, fine but thick hair. On both of our hair types and using it on dry hair and wet hair, the results were not good any time for either of us. For him, it gave his hair a stuck-together, crunchy, shiny scalp look, making his thick hair look like he has thinning hair, which he does not. On me, it made my hair look greasy shortly after applying it, no matter the technique. I fought the crunchy factor as well. It didn't help my waves or curls to hold or have that pretty piecey look, just weighted down and dirty looking. We bought the surf hair product (looks just like this one but with a yellow lid) and it has worked well for both of us. So if you're displeased like us with this one, try Surf Hair.

I have the hot version. It does the job of giving me fresh, revitalized skin and after using it long term, I'm pleased with the results. I find that using it right after I shower intensifies the hot effect on me and the hot factor is increased as well as the redness I experience - I look like I'm very sunburned if I use it right after a hot shower and exfoliating my face. So, first time users take note and don't try it right before you need to be somewhere in case you react the way I do. The redness doesn't bother me because I go straight to bed but it may bother some people. I enjoy the hot but if you're unsure, you may want to try a sample from your local spa first before investing the money. Overall, I'm very pleased with my results, and like all Eminence products, it's high quality and I will buy it again.

After having a facial at a spa that uses Eminence products, I was blown away at the quality of their products and the results I saw - immediate and over the long term. I use many of their products and love them. I want to love this serum but I do really like it. I'm glad to have it and feel like its giving me good results as a part of my skin care routine but when I've used it up, I'm going to try another Eminence serum before I'd buy this one again. It's stickier that other serums I've used in the past so I don't use it in the mornings, only at night.

I've had mine for years and no other curler has compared. I've tried a few but I came right back to this one. Mine recently broke and I saw that it was unavailable in all the places I typically buy makeup online but was able to buy it through the company directly (with a promo code for a free mini curler and free shipping). So if you also have trouble finding it, try their website and check on the latest promo codes out there for a deal.

Many of the creams I've tried cause the skin around my eyes to burn and my eyes to water. I also have seborrheic dermatitis that affects my eyelids at times so I battle dry skin around my eyes. This cream is so nourishing, so moisturizing, and so gentle at the same time. No burning, no redness, no stinging - just moisture. It glides on smoothly and is not greasy. Like all Eminence products, it smells wonderful. This is definitely a quality product that won't disappoint.

I've never used another wand to compare this one to but I've used many curling irons over the years. I was a regular curling iron user until I got this. I have long, layered, fine but thick hair. My curls are great and the product has lived up to the curling wand hype - loose, cascading curls that start from the root, and have long staying power. I was good with a curling iron and felt like I caught on really quickly with how to manipulate the wand and my hair as I wrap it to obtain different types of curls. If you're good with a curling iron, you'll probably pick up on this easily. I use a volumizer and Sebastian Reshaper along with Garnier Surf Hair to get my curls to be full, hold, and have that soft piecey look. The quality of the wand has been great so far, no complaints there. For the price (I paid $30) I feel like its comparable to my $100 flat iron in quality. I only wished I hadn't waited so long to get it!

I was never a fan of glass until I found Buxom. The colors are great - I own many. They staying power is great without being too sticky or tasting like anything. I personally don't want a gloss to taste bad but I don't want it to taste like candy either. This is a good neutral gloss without a strong taste, without being sticky looking, and provides a pretty sheen to the lips.

After seeing Lisa Eldridge use this liner (I believe she was involved with the development of this color), I had to try it and see for myself. It really is a great nude color and wears well under lipstick. I'd love for it to have a little more staying power on me though.

I've tried many color stay lip products but keep coming back to this one. It stays on, doesn't peel off (just fades over time), wears well under lip balm, lipstick, or lipgloss. In my experience, I've found the colors that have shimmer to them do not wear well and look bad not long after I put them on. If I stick with the matte colors without a shimmer to them, I've had great results. My favorite color is Forever Fawn, a nude color. My rating is based on my experience with the non-shimmer colors.
