I would say this one works fairly well when talking about lengthening lashes, at least at its price. And it can hold on for a long time as well. Besides, it's waterproof.

Lancome Flex WP Waterproof Mascara

good at extending but can't hold on long

I think this one can extend your lashes to a satisfying length but it can't hold the curve for long. Probably for 3-4 hours you need to use the curler to make sure your lashes still look great (Anyway, I got to admit the effect was really good. You simply have to be careful and diligent enough.)
