This product was a waste of money for me. It barely covers imperfections and has no SPF. I have slightly oily skin and this went slick on me within only a few hours.

Love this product! I tried it for a week and was hooked. I use it mostly at night, especially before bed and my lips never chap or crack. It goes on smooth and lasts and lasts. It has no funky smell or taste like some balms. I saw that they are coming out with a version with SPF30, can't wait to get that one for daytime use under my lip color.

Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15
Warning! Proceed with caution...
I tried this product because it had a good reliable sunscreen and it was highly recommended by Paula Begoun. I was very happy with the ease of application and the way it made my skin even. At first my skin looked luminous and dewy, but then I noticed that I looked very pink by midday. I thought maybe I was just overheated and kept using the product. After a week I still noticed that odd pink tone my skin turned after it was on for a while. Then I looked carefully at the ingredients and saw it contains niacinamide. My husband took niacin pills per doctors' orders once and it made his face flush. I realized the niacinamide must be causing it. My doctor confirmed it. This must be the "Color Recapture" part of the product. Since I already have a pinkish "strawberries and cream" complexion I stopped using this since I don't need to look any pinker. I gave it to my mom whose skin tone is more olive/golden and it looked great on her. It's a shame though, it's otherwise a terrific product.

In every survey of beauty products this mascara always comes up as a favorite pick. You also frequently see quotes from makeup artists that this is their #1 choice. Frankly I don't understand why. This is just an okay product with tons of hype and promotion behind it. Keep in mind that magazines make their money from advertisers, and who advertises in beauty and fashion mags?...you guessed it!...cosmetic manufacturers. Most people believe everything they read in these mags so when they are surveyed they respond based on what they've read. That's why I prefer sites like this where people can write what they really think after they've tried the product. I've tried this mascara and I found it clumped easily and flaked and smudged during the day. The brush makes it hard to get into the corners and get all the tiny lashes there. There are much better products on the market for the same money, or only a few cents more, and some of them are also from Maybelline.

I love this product! I have very short, baby-fine hair that always looked flat and wouldn't hold a style without a ton of spray. Then it would get dry and crunchy and if I put a hat on then it would get plastered flat with no hope of recovery. With this product I get lift, volume, hold, a piecy-look, and after I take my hat off a tiny bit of water and a little hand-fluffing brings it right back. I also love that it does all this without making my hair look greasy. It washes out easily and smells fresh. The jar lasts a long time so even if it seems expensive, you will get your money's worth.

I really like this foundation. It goes on smoothly, evenly, and looks very natural. I also like that it has a reliable sunscreen. I have very pale skin and it is hard to get a sheer foundation like this that looks good on me, but the light version looks terrific. It really blends in and wears all day. It also doesn't make me breakout as I have combination blemish-prone. It does leave it a bit shiny by late in the day, but that's what blotting papers are for!

I was excited when I saw this because I am a huge fan of a lot of other Paula's Choice products. I tried this base and top coat with several different other brands of color polish and it was just okay. While it did dry quickly and was quite shiny, it did not stand up well to the day-to-day abuse I usually expose my hands to. There are other brands I have tried and like much better such as Essie, OPI, Develop 10, and Sally Hansen.
