    Revlon ColorStay Active Light Makeup

    Great Summer foundation

My skin is really oily, especially during the summer. This doesn't mattify exactly, but it doesn't leave or cause any extra grease. I use the Nude color, and it's a great find that competes with much more expensive department store items. The coverage is light and can be made medium if you layer it, but i find that just putting on one layer is enough for evening out my redness and any zit marks left over. Actually, the coverage is, in my opinion, the best thing about it. Most foundations that cover imperfections can look heavy and unnatural (at least on me) and this one never ever does. It doesn't seem to last all day, but it definitely never smears or turns different colors when i sweat. All in all, a GREAT buy! Oh, and I also love the fact that it has spf. Extra protection...

  • BeautyBlender The Original BeautyBlender Makeup Sponge

I love this! It's the perfect thing to put foundation on with. I've had problems applying my foundation until i found this. I've used foundation brushes, which are too complicated and don't apply makeup smoothly, and my fingers just smear everything all over the place. This helps me sponge the makeup on effortlessly and it really makes the makeup look more smooth and natural. It's very simple to use: Wash it with lukewarm water, and squeeze out the excess water until it's slightly damp. Then put a bit of liquid foundation on the back of your hand, dip the beautyblender in it,and press it anywhere you need coverage. don't rub it across your face, though, just dab, or press. It's totally worth the money, and i would reccomend buying the cleanser with it.

    Benefit Erase Paste

    Full coverage but too creamy

I'm always looking for an undereye concealer that won't crease, and most importantly, is the right color - almost all of the concealers I've tried, both high end and cheap, are way too yellowy for me. Erase paste in #2 is the perfect color - a little peachy, but still nude colored. It's very creamy, so i only use it in the winter when my eye-area skin is dry and even then after being set with powder it creases a bit. It totally covers dark circles but i wouldn't reccomend using it on pimples because it seems to make them stand out and it's pretty greasy.

    Benefit BADgal Liner Waterproof

Beautiful color, nice packaging, not very long-lasting

This was really easy to apply and the texture and color was very pretty - probably one of the best- feeling and looking eyeliners i've tried - however it is not long lasting at all. I have been looking for a super-long-lasting eyeline pencil for a while, and I was disappointed with this. It was beautiful but it smudged all over my lower eye area within two hours. Oh well, my search goes on.

    Benefit Eye Bright

    instant eye brightener!

I put this on in the morning after applying benefit erase paste concealer. This really opens your eyes and gives you a bright and natural i-slept-10+-hours-last-night look. It's easy to apply - all you have to do is draw two "v's" encircling the inner and outer corners of your eyes, blend, and look in the mirror to check out your pretty self! It doesn't last too long, though, which is my only gripe.

    Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer

    it's okay, i prefer smashbox

This is a pretty good primer, but no better than smashbox. I compared the two - I put smashbox photo finish light on one side of my face, and this on the other side, waited a few minutes, and applied foundation. The foundation looked just as good on both sides, however the smashbox foundation felt better going on my skin. It's a waste of money.

Benefit Benetint Lip Balm SPF 15

    Great lip balm-tint

I love this product. I don't really like regular lip balm as usually it leaves my lips pale, but this is perfect for me. It 's expensive but it's worth it. It gives me a sleek, pinky-red color on my lips while still hydrating and helping my lips from becoming cracked and dry. It's the perfect item for people who hate the thick, sticky feel and look of lip gloss or lipstick yet want some healthy color and shine on their lips. Plus it has spf, which makes it even better!

Benefit Justine Case Mini Beautifier Kit

    Quite useful and very cute!

I love most of benefit's products - partly because of their ADORABLE packaging, but also because they're pretty good quality. The products in this little cute case are quite useful and pretty. They're small, especially the bottles, but I've been getting alot of use out of them, so I expect they'll last me a while. One thing that bothers me is that the foundation faker doesn't come with a sponge or some sort of tool to apply it - it says on the instruction sheet to use your fingers, which is a bit messy and uncomfortable. But the benetint is great (though if you're using it on your cheeks you have to really rub it in quickly or else you'll get marks where you put it)the california kissin' lip gloss is even better ( it really does brighten your smile and it tastes yummy, too - very fresh and minty) and the eyecon eye cream is okay - I haven't really used it much though it does feel good going on. Allover, a very cute, practical little thing to have around.

  • Nars Blush

    Nars Blush

    The BEST blush!

I've tried so many blushes from both drugstore and department store brands, but this is by far the most pretty, easy-to-apply blush i have ever used. I use the color Outlaw, and my mom is always using it even though we havedifferent skin tones. It flatters both of our skin. It has hust the right amount of shimmer, it glides right on, makes you look fresh and healthy, and the packaging is neat and attractive. I reccomend this to everyone - it's worth the price!
