UGH!

I have oily skin, so shine is always an issue, as is makeup staying power. Finding a primer that works is like searching for the Holy Grail! This stuff, (and I tried the Shine Control version, not the Color Calming), was AWFUL! It's really thick, and quite dry, so it's difficult to apply evenly. I felt like I was wearing a mask--there is no "light" application if this stuff. And, after about and hour, since my skin was apparently getting NO oxygen, I looked like a walking oil slick! Since I wasn't at home, I had to make do with just blotting my face all day with whatever I could--tissue, paper towels, even toilet paper! I had about ZERO makeup left at the end of the day---but I DID have 2 new pimples from the blocked pores! NOT worth the money--AT ALL! I was VERY disappointed.

L'Oreal Paris True Match Naturale Mineral Foundation

I won't use anything else!

I am 40 yrs old, and have horrible skin---extremely oily, large pores, breakouts like clockwork, etc...and it's pretty much always been that way. So, to say that I've tried a FEW foundations is an understatement! I LOVE this stuff! I've cycled through a few of the mineral foundations, and always come back to this. It stays on. It has buildable coverage. It has sunscreen. The shades MATCH my skin tone, no matter what the season, and I am pretty fair. And my skin? Is BETTER!!!!! Honestly, the ONLY complaint I have about this is that I make a HUGE mess with it---my entire bathroom is slightly beige! ;) It tends to "float" in the air, and just settle everywhere when you are using it...but I think all loose powders will do that to some extent. I'm so enamoured of it and what it has done for my skin, that I also use the blush, the concealer, and the illuminator, or "Glow" (I'm using the Glow as blush right now to perk up my dull winter skin.) A great day for me is when I stumble across a "BOGO" sale on it...and I stock up!

Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller

Still Waiting...

So, the hype is that I use this in the AM, and my puffiness will go away within minutes...so I have put this on every day for over a month, after cleansing, before primer and makeup, hoping that it's true...and am still waiting to see the results promised? What I DO notice is that the puffiness tends to decrease on its own anyway...and the roller makes the skin under my eyes look OLDER! The lines and wrinkles that I've noticed in the past year are intensified on the days that I have used this. WHY? No idea! Maybe it dries, and tightens the skin a bit? That would pull it, I guess...which it can ill afford, by the way...I am saddened that it didn't work, but am a glutton for punishment, and will continue to try...

Neutrogena Body Clear Oil-Free Body Scrub With Salicylic Acid

Lives up to its promises, but...

be careful of dryness! It really does help clear up body breakouts, and i use it 2 or 3x a week if I need to, but if I'm not careful, I get really over dry. The trick, now, it seems, is finding a lotion for my body that won't make me break out all over again after using this?

Bath & Body Works American Girl realbeauty inside and out Wish and Wash Shower Gel

Where has it gone?

My 6 year old daughter has red hair, and sensitive skin, so she doesn't get to use soaps or body washes every time she showers or bathes, but boy, does she look forward to "body wash days" with this stuff! My only problem? The salesperson at my local store has told me that ALL of the American Girl products have been discontinued???? We LOVE it! And a little bit goes a long way on a pouf in the shower, so it lasts quite some time!
