  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Eau de Toilette Brown Sugar & Fig

I really like a lot of the Bath and Body Works products and scents. However, I have received the most compliments when I wear Brown Sugar and Fig. It smells more like a classic perfume, and it is the one scent that every time I wear it, my husband comments on the fact that I smell good. I wear different scented lotions almost every day, so he does not know he is commenting on the same scent. In really warm weather or particularly humid climates, the scented body lotion may be all the scent you need. This scent is not too over powering nor is it cloying.

  • Avon SKIN SO SOFT Soft & Sensual Hand Rescue Balm

I am a fan of Avon products and am certain that the "most discerning" of buyers would be raving about some of their products if they were sold in a department store with elaborate packing and a price-as-the-index-to-quality attitude. I do use this product on occasion, but you need to plan to be at home and wear cotton gloves as it feels greasy. I would compare it to the feeling of rubbing Vaseline petroleum jelly on your hands. I would recommend using a regular hand lotion first and then a drop of this product to seal in that moisturizer. You also might try putting a drop of this balm on only the BACK of your hands and rub the backs of your hands together, leaving your palms and finger tips grease-free for driving, touching delicate fabrics, or handling documents at work. This is a good product to use at night to seal in moisture. If you leave in the tropics or an extremely humid area, use this product sparingly as it does not really seem to sink in to your skin but seems to sit on top of your skin, just like petroleum jelly does.

    Lancôme Définicils

    Worth the price

I have tried just about every mascara there is - from drugstore brands to high end. What matters to me is product performance. I am picky because my eyes are sensitive and mascara on my lower lashes smudges easily -- and I don't want to look like a raccoon. Definicils goes on smoothly without clumping and does a good job of separating and darkening my thin, blonde lashes so that they are very visible and yet still natural in appearance.. To be honest, I think Almay's One-Coat mascara makes my lashes look thicker, and so I sometimes use Almay One-Coat on the upper lashes. Note that word UPPER because I have to stick to Lancome's Definicils for the lower lashes to avoid smudging. I find that Definicils comes off easily with my oily makeup remover, yet it stays on remarkable well when I am swimming and water skiing! Although the price of Lancome's product may seem expensive, the mascara does seem to last a long time

  • Avon PLANET SPA Mediterranean Olive Oil Whipped Body Cream

This product IS moisturizing and the price is certainly reasonable. However, the olive oil scent is a bit "funky," so don't put it on if your significant other is around, and don't plan to wear it with a different cologne or perfume. Truly think of it as a spa treatment.
