Overall good, with some flaws

I think the shampoo was good. It doesn't lather well, or even spread evenly through my hair. I always had to wash my hair twice to feel like everything had been touched by shampoo and it was clean. My hair is colored and while I don't wash it everyday, I do blow-dry, curl, or flat iron everyday. My hair is medium to light weight and sometimes dry, considering everything I do it. This shampoo seemed to maintain the moisture (I used a separate conditioner), and not dry out my hair. It is easy to style and manage. Finally, the scent is terrible. It's strong and chemically. I am not sure how anyone stands it.

This stuff is great! Bold colors, even when you soften the line for a smokey look. And when you do, the color stays! Lesser products are erased as soon as you try to blend them, but not this.

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Washable Bold Eye Mascara

Always on the lookout for the perfect mascara...

And this one comes the closest. I wear very little makeup -- usually just mascara and gloss. I never feel like mascaras are black enough or leave your lashes thick enough. However, I love the Carbon Black version of Voluminous. This one goes on black and thick with miminal clumping. Nothing a couple of sweeps of an eyelash comb doesn't fix. There are two drawbacks, though. First, the mascara takes forever to dry, so it smudges easily. If your lids are overhanging, this one is not for you. Also, it's difficult to remove. An excellent makeup remover is an absolute must. Soap and water won't do it; it'll just smudge all over your cheeks.

NeXXus Y Serum Younger Looking Hair Shampoo

Less hair loss due to breakage

I am very particular about my shampoo and have been using the Y Serum line for quite a few years now. I highly recommend it. I use the shampoo and the treatment (not thrilled with the conditioner--not moist enough for my tastes) and can honestly say that I lose far less hair due to breakage than before I started using it.
