    BareMinerals All-Over Face Color

    Yellowish tint to most shades

Although this provides full coverage, I've tried several shades and find that most are too yellow for most Caucasians. I love how it is SPF 15, though, so I use just a little bit of it for shine control over my foundation. Sometimes, for more full powder-coverage, I mix it in with a non-glittery bronzer to have more of a natural glow. If you are going to buy this, have someone at Sephora help you for a little while to find the exact color, because there are many shades and you don't want to look sick or pasty all the time.

Johnson's Melt Away Stress 24 Hour Moisturizing Wash

Good smell, but I'm still stressed

I can't say much about the aromatherapy helping my stress levels, but this wash does leave your skin soft and smelling good. I use it at night most of the time, but the scent is nice and light, so I like using it in the morning too. Its less than $5 so its hard to beat! It lathers up very nice on a sponge and the smell lasts for several hours.

Marc Jacobs Eau De Toilette Splash

Great for day time in the summer!

I love these splashes! I have orange and it smells very much like an orange. It isn't a trashy smell or too overbearing, but more natural. I love using baby lotion in combination with this fragrance for the daytime this summer. I feel light and airy, but people still compliment my smell. It might seem pricey, at $65, but one bottle could last you everyday of the summer. Collect them all before its too late! Best fragrance innovation of the summer thus far, in my opinion.

    Stila Long Wear Lip Color

    Dries too fast

I am not impressed with this "long lasting" lipstick in comparison to others that I have tried. In fact, I wouldn't even say that I like this more than the generic Revlon long-lasting lipstick/glosses. I have a darker brown shade which goes on matte. Most long-lasting lipsticks are like that, but this one doesn't even last that long which is the only reason that matte-ness is acceptable in the first place. I have to re-apply just as much as with every other lipstick because the center of my lips still lose color very fast. The only way the lipstick stays on long is if I don't talk or lick my lips. I don't think this is worth the money and I am not even impressed by the selection of shades. Save your money for a smooth Chanel lipstick, or something that you know will have a colorful punch even if it doesn't necessarily claim to "last for hours".

  • Lumene Time Freeze Instant Cooling Eye Stick

I use this product every morning. Like it promises, this little stick cools and sooths your under eye, decreasing puffiness and also helping discoloration. It is a great pink color and is very easy to apply. It fits in a purse. Be careful when applying with moist hands though, because the writing on the stick comes off if it gets wet; you don't want to get blue ink on your face. I usually use two eye creams in the morning- one for cooling and one for discoloration, but this does both in one. For $20, this product is worth it.

  • Lumene Vitamin C+ Invigorating Eye Serum

I use this product at night and the Time Freeze stick during the day before my makeup. Although this doesn't leave any residue that would make makeup application difficult, the strength makes it ideal for the night time. This product truly does take away darkness under your eyes, which is inevitable even if you are 20 (like me) and get enough sleep. Also, unlike the L'oreal cream I used to use, this minimizes those little bumps that can appear under your eyes. It is hydrating and cooling and you don't even have to touch your face to use it. Its a little on the pricey side, for about $20, but that is standard for any good eye cream.

  • Aveeno Ultra Calming Night Cream

This is the best night cream I have ever used! I generally have a problem finding a very moisturizing yet hypoallergenic product, but this cream is both those things. I can use it in the summer without getting breakouts. It minimizes my pores and smooths my skin's texture. For $17, this is a must have!

  • Lumene Body Aktiva Body Designer Cellulite Serum

I liked this product, until I had an itch at a party. I use it before I wear dresses where you can see most of my legs, and I noticed that it made my skin look nice. It has a nice smell, but don't do anything to rub it off your leg or it will get brown and gross.

  • Sephora Colorful Eye Shadow Palette

The colors in these compacts are great for layering. I have one with a bright teal and a gray with teal specks- I love putting them together when I got out. Although the editor indicates that these shadows fall onto your face, that is applicable to all eyeshadows. She also indicated that the shades were too small for a brush- which I also disagree with because I have a few thin brushes, as most makeup junkies do. It creases...if you don't use a primer. I always use a primer (Tarte eyelid primer) and it keeps all my eyeshadow, even drug store brand, on all night. The packaging leaves much to be desired, but overall I like these eyeshadow sets.

  • Garnier Skin Renew Daily Regenerating Serum

I love this product in comparison to other "regenerating serums". Since there's been so much buzz about these types of regenerating liquids, I have tried quite a few. I stayed away from this one for a while, because I was convinced that the most expensive brands would be the best. I like this better than Este Lauders recent brand, as well as the Olay drug store brand. This is not greasy like those are; it actually hydrates your skin. I also love the smell! Usually I use a lifting serum, then this product, an SPF moisturizer, and then a makeup primer. Before I got this product, it sucked when I didn't have time to complete this routine. With it, though, I can skip the SPF and makeup primer steps because it functions as those as well
