WOW. This is a hand-me-down from my mom and I can't believe someone recommended this to her. supposedly when this first came out it was the best on the market but I don't see how! Metal plates and heat settings that always seem to get much hotter than what I set it for. YIKES! Sure it straightens my hair but afterwards my hair is full of static and flyaways and all the moisture and shine has been sucked out. Ceramic is the way to go to preserve shine without too much heat damage. I will never buy another Hot Tools or metal heat appliance again.

I have three of these in near-black shades (Can't remember the names but I think one of them is Gunmetal?) and the Forest Shimmer ink. I love them! This little pot will last you a long time. These apply so smoothly. I have never had any of these products flake or dry out on me. I'm perplexed by everyone saying they flake or dry out. I've had one of them for 2 years ( I know, I know, I never pay attention to when you're supposed to throw away cosmetics! I told you, this little bit goes a long way!) and it's not dry at ALL. .It applies as smoothly as the day I first got it. They dry on your lid fairly quickly though, but you still have plenty of time to work with the product, fix a smudge or correct a line, etc. And they stay put, too! I've worn this on stage and even then it does not melt off or smudge or flake. I really recommend trying this product!

I've had this sitting for awhile because I thought I would never use it. I couldn't stand this lotion on my face in the incredibly hot, humid and sticky Venetian summer I experienced while on vacation. But now that it's winter and my skin feels tight and dry, I gave it another shot. Wow! My skin feels so much better. On my dry skin this feels smooth and even calming. And it hasn't even broken out my acne prone skin, which is a miracle! It also has SPF so it's great because you should still wear SPF even in the winter on your face! So this product is a complete SKIP for me when my skin tends to be oilier in the heat, but perfect for dry skin.

I used this to cover an actor's tattoo for stage. The palette is creamy and has excellent buildable coverage which starts a medium-full coverage and in layers can completely cover anything. I definitely had to build on it though. I used a few layers of product and powder to get a completely invisible tattoo. But I have fallen in love with this concealer palette! If I can use it for a black, red, green and blue tattoo, this product shouldn't fail anyone. Just make sure to powder and set it very well!

I used this for a few days for a show I recently did makeup for. I used a beautiful bright pink. It was very pigmented and so, so creamy. I didn't blend it in on the woman's face because we used bright doll circles on her cheeks. But I tested it on on the back of my hand and a little really goes a long way! I just loved how smooth and easily it applied both for the theatrical application I did and for practical, everyday. I can see that this product would last someone FOREVER, especially if you use a brush instead of sticking dirty fingers in the pot constantly.

I have this in Brown Metal and it's absolutely gorgeous! No creasing, no budging. It's a lovely base, as well. I love that this particular shade (I'm not sure about the rest, this is the only one I have) actually has gorgeous green/gold leaning iridescent glitter, so it really sparkles and is special. Despite the glitter, it still goes on very smoothly! My only gripe is that I wish the base color on this one were a little more pigmented, I had to layer a bit. However, I remember from testing in store that the other metallics are more pigmented, I was just told that this one is the sparkle one. I am absolutely looking forward to buying more and trying that out!

I can't even get past the smell of these to try them. Vanilla Chair for your pits? You've got to be kidding! It smells like a rank barn with chai mixed in.

I have the full-size shadows in Daybreak and Peacock, as well as a few small sized trios including "Lucky Penny" (I can't remember the other names off the top of my head). I wear Daybreak nearly every day. It's great to blend with, add shimmer or use as a highlighter under my brow or in the inside corners of my eyes. Peacock is another that gets frequent use. I like this color best when used wet to line on top and bottom. Even with daily use they are lasting a very very long time. Very smooth, great finish which ranges from a subtle shimmer to frosty, depending on the shade. My only gripe is that I wish some of the shades had better color payoff when used dry, but like I said I use them wet with great results.

I have this product in Eggplant and in Teal. The teal really lives up the name of high intensity. It is a great, vivid color. Unlike another reviewer, I didn't find my teal to be dry at all. I feel like the eggplant could be a little most purple because sometimes it just comes off as looking black. I also don't use the brush included except for with the teal liner (because the teal stains the brushes!). I don't like it because I have to be really careful not to get too thick of a line and worst of all, the brushes are really rough! Why would anyone want to use such a stuff brush around their eyes? But aside from that, I love these! They also last really well on the waterline for me!

I'm not a lipstick or lipgloss person usually but I like these. I got them as a birthday gift from sephora and also had a few laying around. They are smooth, not sticky at all, hydrating and have a nice sheer color. They also all smell great. I also have a clear one with is nice to use over lipsticks or especially over other glosses that would otherwise dry my lips out. I have one with glitter and mine is not gritty or anything, so maybe it depends on the tube (product consistency). There's nothing terribly special about these, but for the price and size I think they're a great value, especially for the occasional lipgloss wearer like me.
