After years of trying everything out there from plain old chapstick, to Vaseline to Neutrogena, to Smiths Rosebud salve, etc. etc....once i found Burts Bees Beeswax lip balm I NEVER LOOKED BACK and I will continue buying this original formular forever (I just bought a 4 pack for $9.99 at Target), it used to be that I could only get it online or in specialty stores or at Cracker Barrel, then CVS started carrying it a few years ago and recently I have seen it at Target, Meijer, Kroger, etc. HOORAY...no more having to hunt down a tube of Burts Bees. Your lips will neve rbe chapped or dry if you use this daily. My son even uses it. I have a tube in my purse, one by the front door for him to use before he goes out and one in each bedroom, it really is great, but only if you use it regularly. My boyfriend does not like it because he does not like the pepperminty coolness of it, but we love it and it WORKS GREAT.

I would give this a NEGATIVE STAR if I could but apparently I have to give at least one. I heard all these rave reviews about this about 2 years ago so I went out and bought a bottle. I have fair skin and have had great results from going to the tanning salon in the past but had yet to find a "self tanner" that worked well. What I liked about this was that it was supposed to give you a subtle color that increased with daily use and was not like other self tanners that basically turn you orange. So, before even using it I exfoliated my entire body the day before (because of previous self tanning disasters). The next day I minimally and evenly applied to my entire body and I continued this for several days. After day 3 the subtle color and glow seemed good to me but my boyfriend said it looked unnatural to him-but I went ahead and continued using it since I thought the subtle glow was nice. Well in about a week suddenly I woke up one day and I was really orange/red looking-like I got a sunburn. So, I discontinued use hoping the color would fade and go back to the nicer 2-3 day glow I originally had. But instead of it fading evenly, it started fading around my neck and armpits and started to look like my skin was DIRTY, there would be streaks of color and streaks with no color (this is days after I stopped using), it was SO EMBARASSING, I had to SCRUB MY WHOLE BODY WITH A LOOFAH to get most of it off but it still took days before it all went away and I had to go around with a "dirty looking neck" in the middle of the summer when you can't evn cover it up much. ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE PRODUCT FOR ME.

These actually do work great, I just wish it was a ONCE A DAY application instead of twice a day because I have a hard enough time remembering to do it once, let alone to remember doing it twice. So anyway, I bought them about a month ago and I like that they only take about 10 minutes to dissolve (yes it does leave a residue but it easily rinses off with some water, at least you don't have to peel the strip off), I found them easy to apply and I like that they tell you to do the top and bottom teeth at the same time (unlike Crest Whitestrips which I tried years ago and I was supposed to apply one strip to my top teeth for thirty minutes TWO TIMES PER DAY for two weeks and then do the same for my bottom teeth for two weeks-well that was YEARS ago and all the bottom teeth strips are still under my bathroom sink along with half of the top teeth strips since I could never remember to do it for 30 minutes 2 times per day for a total of 4 weeks in a row, I would remember for 2 days and then forget and they were annoying when they were on-it was hard to talk AND they said NOT TO BRUSH AFTERWARDS for 2 hours which I did not like because I always wanted to brush afterwards) but anyway that is why I like these because they dissolve in about 10 minutes or less, you can do top & bottom teeth at once and after only doing it for 3 or 4 days I noticed some improvement in the whiteness of my teeth. Sadly, I have not been able to do a full two week course. I have doen two days here and two days there, I just always forget and that is why I gave 9 stars because the perfect product to me that would deserve 10 stars would be if these strips could be applied only once per day and would dissolve in 10 minutes and the same results were achieved, that is easy enough of aplan to stick to, then I would jst stick them on every monring after brushing but I always forget that second time. Also, I personally did not experience any sensitivity any time I used these, whereas with the Crest whitestrips it made my teeth and gums ULTRA SENSITIVE to cold and hot adn even the air....LOL

Best skin product out there-miracle for your skin
This is BY FAR the best skin product out there. I have large pores and combination skin, I am 31 yrs. old and have never had perfect smooth flawless skin, I always have occasional breakouts, large pores, uneven skin color, etc, etc. A few years ago I tried a sample of this on one side of my face (through a magazine insert) and I was so impressed with how my skin felt that I went out and bought a bottle. Within 2 weeks my skin was flawless, I used it every morning & every evening before bed. At first it just made my skin feel very soft and smooth but after 2 weeks my pores were nearly invisible, I was not getting any occasional breakouts that I have ALWAYS gotten (especially around that time of the month) and it was just a MIRACLE. The 1 oz. bottle lasted me about a month so I bought another one when my bottle got low. I continued using it for several months and had beautiful skin, until I just couldn't afford to pay $50 per month anymore for a bottle. So basically, the ONLY DOWNFALL IS that once you stop using it, your skin will go back to how it was before within a few days. So, in recent years I have only bought one or two bottles a year and then I can have great skin for a month or so but once I run out, my skin is back to the same problems. I only wish I could afford to buy it EVERY MONTHlike I used to because it is DEFINITELY WORTH IT. I have tried all the products similar to this from items you can buy at places like CVS for about $7-$20 to items at Sephora and Macy's for up to $150 and this is by far THE BEST. I definitely recommend if you can afford it, so I will give it 10 stars because it is the only product that does what it says (and it actually keeps you from breaking out, which is not one of its claims, but it really keeps your skin clear as well)-you must use it ritually though to get results & keep those good results, and it smells kind of nice too, I should deduct a star for the fact that it is SO EXPENSIVE, but considering that it is a MIRACLE IN A BOTTLE, then I guess thats the price we have to pay. A good thing to ask for on your Christmas list. Also, it comes in a larger bottle that you actually save money if you buy the larger size but I always just bought the one ounce size. I also want to add ONE CAUTION-I always bought my Idealist from Macy's and always had fantastic results. Then once I bought it from a Marketplace seller on Amazon and it was a few dollars less than I usually pay. Anyway, it came to me in a box from China so I was suspicious immediately but I used it anyway and it did not work-it had the same smell and feel but after a few weeks use and no visible results, I complained to the seller and told them I thought it may be counterfeit and something was obviously wrong with the formula, luckily they gave me a full refund, but just BUYER BEWARE, only buy this from a trusted reputable store because if you buy anywhere else, who knows, they may be filling up the bottle with a cheap imitation version, but someone like me knew that it was not right since I had used it for years and this was the only time I did not see results, so if you buy it from somewhere and don't see results, GET A REFUND and go buy from a department store where you can be rest assure dthe product is ORIGINAL.
