Fried my hair

I used a dark brown shade of this dye to cover a few gray hairs and boost my color. Previously I had used a Loreal foam and loved it, and thought I would try this one. First, the chemical scent was so strong that my eyes burned - way worse than other brands. Then when I rinsed I lost a huge amount of hair. And once it dried, I could see that the color was flat and dull, and my hair felt extremely weak and crispy. I've already deep-conditioned once, and am about to go out and buy some more deep conditioner. I hope my hair can recover from this! I would not recommend it at all. Next time, when my hair can handle being dyed again, I'm going back to the Loreal foam.
