Worth spending a bit more on

I'm not one who tends to splurge on lipstick. I don't usually notice a huge quality difference between a good cheaper brand and the more expensive brands, but this lipstick has definitely impressed me. It is a bold matte that doesn't smear or spread easily. It dries and sets nicely without drying out or flaking or anything.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

This is a staple in my makeup collection

I've been using this product for a year now and I can no longer imagine doing my makeup without it. I love it. It is light, invisible, yet somehow smooths skin texture and disguises flaws. Lasts all day. One standard size canister has lasted me about a year. Definitely worth it.

Coastal Scents 28 Neutral Palette

There is no better product for the price

I've been a makeup fanatic for a long time and have tried more products than anyone I've ever met. I hardly buy anything but coastal scents eyeshadows anymore. I own 3 large palettes (metallic, shimmer, and prism) and a couple of build-your-own hotpot palettes. Of the hundreds of colors I have from them, there have been maybe 4 or 5 colors that failed to live up to the quality I demand in my makeup. The rest have been very good. I cannot be convinced to spend a lot of money on eyeshadow that isn't noticeably better. I would strongly recommend giving them a try.

KVD Beauty Everlasting Hyperlight Transfer-Proof Liquid Lipstick

F***ing Magical.

I'm more of a lipstick person than a lip gloss person. But this is the most amazing lip gloss ever. The color is extremely bold and literally lasts forever (almost a full 24 hours last time I wore it). It doesn't get splotchy or fade weirdly nor does dry my lips out. I live in a very dry climate and am prone to dry skin, but this doesn't irritate my skin at all even though it dries and sets eternally. I am planning on buying many more colors!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Not bad at all

I have a lot of experience with liquid liners, and I can easily make this one work for me. I wish the color was a bit bolder on the first stroke, but it's ultimately not a big deal. It is easy to control the shape and thickness of the line I'm trying to make. Overall, I'm reasonably impressed and would buy again (though probably not full-price).
