Definitely Lives up to Its Name - with wonderful color coverage

I bought this because I have a problem with painfully dry lips and wanted a moisturizer that was also a lipcolor, because I'm more likely to remember to re-apply lipcolor than Carmex and Blistex. I'm so happy I tried it because it became the only lip product I bought for a while. Great, thick coverage with excellent colors with more than just a tad of pigmentation. My dry lips were gone in a matter of a day or two and, with continued use, I rarely get dry lips to the extreme I did before.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible 8 Hr Le Gloss

This Lipgloss is My New Fave!!

I've been waiting for a "long lasting" lipgloss that wasn't the stain/gloss combo and when I was browzing lipglosses, I decided to step away from my usual product, Neutrogena's MoistureShine gloss, and try it. I was so surprisingly happy with the lipgloss that I went back to Walgreens (twice) and bought two more colors. I thought the gloss was super shiny and the color went on exactly the way it looked in the tube. The one-stop application in a super big plus and, while the gloss did not last 6 hours, I was pleased to see it last through an extended Sunday brunch, drinks and a movie. My girlfriend commented on my lips and after I told her what I had on, she was so impressed, she said she was going to go try it. The color did fade unevenly but I feel it faded faster around my dry patches. Any dry spots on your lips stand out so make sure to exfoliate well. Try brushing your lips lightly with vaseline. This makes them super soft, as well as smooth. Overall, I was extremly happy with this gloss and plan on getting a couple more. What can I say, I like to have variety.

CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation

I Like it Despite the Color Being a Little Lighter Than Expected

I saw the commercial and thought, YES, finally, a foundation in my price range that will act like a facial product, also. Of course, I ran out and bought it, with the highest of hopes. When I put it on the next morning, I was surprised to see it went on a lot lighter than I expected, even though I got the darker Ivory color. My powder helped to fix that, though, as well as a bronzer, so it was not a deal breaker. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not find the product cakey. I thought it gave great coverage that succeeded in not settling into my eye wrinkles. Definitely a plus! My naturally oily skin did not seem any oilier than usual with the use of this product, even after an extended lunch and movie. I did not even need to re-powder after checking in the mirror. I have not used the product long enough to know if the Olay is making a difference but it couldn't hurt, right?

CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara

Finally, I have long, beautiful lashes....

Thick, Clumpless lashes with no flaking makes for beautiful, aesthetically pleasing eyes. I've tried many, many mascaras and the results this mascara prvides are few and far between. While I enjoy trying new products all the time, I try to make sure I have this on-hand, just in case the new one is not up to par.

Maybelline New York Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Washable Mascara

Nothing Special Here, Folks

I saw the commercial and just HAD to have this mascara. So, next visit to Walgreens, I grabbed it up and could not wait to do my make-up for a night out. I expected BAM, longer, dramatic, shiny "stiletto-esque" lashes. Boy, was I disappointed. While they were very black and the coverage was thorough, my eyes did not pop the way I was hoping. I've experimented with mascaras and this one did not fare well in comparison to, say, CG LashBlast or Maybelline Intense XXL.
