I find that Revlon mascaras are poor to mediocre, at the very best. This one, however, is totally different. While major drama is not in its bag of tricks, it creates wispy, feathery, and perfectly separated lashes like nobody's business all without a clump in sight. We'll done Revlon!

I've gone through many tubes of mascara in search of "The One" that'll give me falsies in a tube. After reading through lots of mixed reviews about this mascara, I decided to give it a try when it went for $4.70 at my local Rite Aid. After curling my lashes and putting on one coat, I was REALLY impressed with what I saw. I got colossal length (pretty impressive with volumizing mascara), and almost perfect separation and definition. To me, this is a natural daytime look that's kicked up a notch. Second and third coats add volume and drama that's perfect for evening or date look. One time, someone has asked me to close my eyes to see if I was wearing my own lashes or falsies. This mascara may flake if you use a lash comb, but the flaking is minor, is easily cleaned up and doesn't last all day. The brush will clump from time to time. This can easily be taken care of by cleaning the tube orifice with a q-tip and wiping the wand with a paper towel. Considering the overall performance of this mascara, these issues are just minor caveats. I've tried other mascara's after buying this one, (just to be sure that I've found The HG) and this one soutperforms them all. Bottom line, I found my HG mascara. Given the price, this is nothing short of winning a jackpot.

While this adds length, I find that it builds more volume than length with each successive coat. Since the formula is on a thick side, you have to apply carefully and don't go over 3 coats. If you don't mind taking the extra time, this isn't a bad mascara at all.

I was introduced to it by my hairstylist and have fallen hard for it. I have tried many things on the market, even stuff for African-American hair, to make my coarse, over processed hair look and feel decent. This was the first product that did the job without weighing my hair down. It made my hair feel like silk giving it life and bounce that was a distant memory from my middle school years before I discovered flat iron. Best of all, I didn't see static or frizz! Even though it's on a pricy side (for me, at least), the results are worth every penny.

I really wanted to like this product since the smell is sooo heavenly. However, I find that it's too thin to work for thick, coarse hair. I used A LOT of product to see any results. Even then, I ended up crossing that fine line between just enough and too much 9 out of 10 times. I tried adding it to my regular conditioner and leave-in conditioner. Even then, the difference it made was negligible. If you have fine to normal hair, you're in better luck. Try Garnier Fructis Marvelous Oil instead. I really hit the jackpot and can't stop raving about it.

This is the best multitasking product that made my coarse, super over processed hair feel like hair again. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all. It can easily be substituted for VO5 hot oil giving identical results. The price is icing on the cake.

I have combination, acne prone skin. I've been using Proactiv system with mixed results until I stumbled upon Paula's Choice website. This baby was a total game changer that left Proactiv in the dust. It exfoliates like nothing else, yet is soooo gentle. Not only did it reduce the overall amount of breakouts and blackheads by 80%, it reduced the size of my pores and redness. Even on those days when I go makeup and skin care product free, my face has that lit-from-within glow. You gotta try it to believe it.

I use it as a nighttime moisturizer and it stays matte from the moment it goes on until I take it off. It's light, moisturizing, and isn't going to feel strange/leave film on your skin. Perfect for combination skin. It also doubles as an eye cream and foundation primer.

With my combination, breakout prone skin, finding a reliable broad spectrum sunscreen is a notoriously difficult task. I'm also sensitive to synthetic sunscreen ingredients used in broad spectrum sunscreens. So that leaves me with either zinc oxide or titanium dioxide for broad spectrum sun protection. This sunscreen is absolutely perfect. It truly comes on matte and STAYS matte. I can totally skip applying powder in the winter. The tint is added to mask the white cast that zinc oxide leaves behind. I have light skin and it shows up just a little bit. Plus, it's fragrance free so I don't have to worry about being annoyed by smelling perfume on my face all day. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Another classic old lady perfume with a strange floral musky twist that made me wanna gag.
