Bare Escentuals Lipstick

Nice finish.

Although this is not super moisturizing it did not dry my lips out. I love the "velvet" finish of it...not shiny like a gloss but not matte either. Felt light on my lips and the color wears well.

Clinique Almost Lipstick

Beautiful

Black Honey is the most beautiful color when applied. It looks scary dark in the tube but just about anyone can wear it beautifully. Fair or darker skinned...you'll end up with a berry stained lip. Will absolutely buy again.

Bare Escentuals Wearable Lip Gloss

Perfect for barely there color

I have this in "classic" and it is my absolute favorite nude lipgloss. Not scented and not sticky and it lasts a decent amount of time considering it's lipgloss. Absolutely will purchase again.

Avon Ergonomic Eye Liner Brush

Worth more than it costs!

I have a slanted eyeliner brush that I paid almost $30 for and I bought this one to compare the two. This is a fabulous liner brush for powder, liquid, cream or gel liners. It picks up the color great and deposits is smoothly. The heavier base of the brush handle allows it to rest comfortably on my hand when I'm applying makeup to someone else. Because of this brush I've purchased other shadow brushes from Avon and have been just as pleased.

Avon Big Color Eye Pencil

Great value!

I have this in Night Glisten and it's comparable to MAC's Shadestick in Sharkskin. It glides on and is easy to blend with a finger or a brush. I love to use this as a base over my eyeshadow primer when I'm doing a very dark smokey eye. It's also great in the waterline...it doesn't stay put in the waterline all day long but it does last a very long time.

N.Y.C. New York Color Color Wheel Mosaic Pressed Powder

Beautifully Pigmented

I have this in All Over Bronze and love it. It's very pigmented so you have to use a very small amount at a time. Typically I'll use this to contour my cheeks by applying it in the hollows of my cheeks with an angled blush brush. But on days that I don't want to wear my regular blushes I take a large powder brush and swipe some on my cheeks and end up with a healthy glow without sitting in the sun. Very nice product and the color payoff is more than I would expect for an inexpensive product.

bareMinerals Blush

Worth the money.

I have five different colors of these blushes and love them all. With just needing to use a tiny bit, this pot will last forever so I don't mind paying $18.00 for it. One of my favorite colors is Fruit Cocktail...in the pot it is a scary bright pink but once I put it on it is a beautiful shade of pink...I can even use it on my daughter who is considerably darker than I am. I love to use them as a lip color by just dipping my lip balm in them.

N.Y.C. New York Color Classic Lipliner Pencil

The ONLY lip liner I use.

I use high end cosmetics and have tried many lip liners but I always go back to this one in #954. This is the perfect nude color for me and I use it with my glosses and lipsticks. I'll even use it with chapstick. It doesn't crumble when I'm applying it and blends well if I'm using it all over my lips. Absolutely the perfect liner for all my lip colors.

CHI Turbo Digital Microchip Ceramic Hairstyling Iron

No one knows how curly my hair is...lol.

My husband bought this for me as a Christmas gift (in pink, of course) almost two years ago and I love it. I've used all kinds of flat irons (some with very very good results) but this one heats up the fastest and leaves my hair silky straight without my having to blow dry my hair straight first. I can dry my hair using just my hair dryer and fingers (and I'm left with HUGE curly and very coarse hair) and as long as I iron thin sections I can go from huge afro to silky straight hair. I still am thanking my husband for buying this for me.

Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Fast Fix Concealer

Happy after several attempts.

I have dark circles and bought the All Over Brightening one (the lavender colored one). It took several tries before I could actually see any results. I use Bare Escentuals foundations and this Fast Fix Concealer does not work well with the powder foundation...it did brighten the area...but it also called attention to fine lines under my eyes. It's super soft, so if you apply it before your foundation or concealer it will not work at all because it seems to fade or melt away. Now I use it as my last step...over my foundation and finishing powder. A few taps of this lavender concealer under my eyes really does brighten the area up. Now that I've finally found a way to make it work I'll continue to use it but I don't know if I'll buy it again.
