have been waiting to try this mask, and must say that using this was definitely worth the wait. Intensive Brightening Mask is formulated with "Specially developed with Shiseido-original Multi-Target Vitamin C and Spot Deacti-Complex to suppress melanin formation. Formulated with Asian plant extracts to improve moisture balance and leave skin smooth and supple with a dewy fresh vibrance. Contains AE Complex, a highly effective absorption enhancer that maximizes the delivery of beneficial ingredients to skin." In laymen terms, this mask is made to inhibit melanin production, making skin more even. It targets freckles, unevenness, and dark spots due to sun rays and overall aging. The mask is just that, a cloth mask that is soaked with the formula that you simply open up and place over your face. You leave it on for a short ten minutes, and peel it off, smoothing the leftover liquid onto skin.

Sometimes I need more than just concealer under my eyes, and sometimes for me means most of the time, unfortunately. I am fortunate, however, to have found my saving grace in this Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightener. Photo Op is a creamy peach-tinted iridescent makeup that is applied with a brush. It really perks up the undereye area making it look lighter, brighter, and over-all fresh. Just a few dabs under the eye does the trick, and it even works well on the inside corners of the eyes. This is definitely a must-have for any of us early-risers.

This was one mascara I could not wait to get my hands on, as it is not a typical mascara. Most mascara's are "painted" on with color and fibers. Kiss Me Mascara is not of this formula. It is a formula that actually wraps each individual lash and forms a tube around them. So I applied, as in the directions, carefully making one even swoop from the base of my lashes and up. My lashes were immediately longer and more defined. There was no clumping, obviously, I just noticed lashes that were a bit longer. For what my lashes gained in length, they certainly lacked in volume. I really like both long and thick lashes, not just almost spider-leg looking lashes, so I was a bit disappointed. The mascara did not budge all day. No smearing or smudging at all. I didn't test this under any exreme conditions, just a normal average busy day - my lashes looked as they did when I first applied. What I was even more disappointed in was with the removal of the mascara. You have to apply pressure to remove the mascara, and it was a bit more than just normal pressure. I did not like how I had to more like tug on my lashes with water, to then finally see them come off in the shape of little tubes. It was actually quite weird. Removal was definitely not my favorite part.

It is no secret that it takes lot of practice when learning how to apply eye liner. Liquid eyeliner can be another story in itself. The formulas can be dry, runny, or too thick. The brushes, well - finding the perfect brush to apply a liquid liner can be a chore on it's own. Enter Urban Decay Liquid Liner. Urban Decay has all the bases covered. The formula has a nice consistency, that dries fairly quick and does not budge from where you apply it. The brush is perfect. It delivers the right amount of precision without being too thin.

The ultimate curling mascara because simply put, there is no need to pre-curl your lashes with an eyelash curler when using Courbe Virtuose. At least for me anyway. Courbe Virtuose is formulated with CurlGuard™. This is a unique formula that no only lengthens and helps to curl lashes, but it holds your lash curve for an unprecented 12 hours. The brush has a slight curve to it, which they call it's KeepCurl™ brush. The bristles are close together and tight around the curve, helping to curl lashes as you apply. This is why I don't have the need to use my eyelash curler prior to using. And as with all of Lancome's mascaras, there is no clumping, flaking, or smudging. Just beautiful rich color, with the ultimate curl hold. My only gripe I have with this mascara, and it is a small one, is with the handle design. The tube is glossy and the handle has a strange curve to it. When I first tried the mascara, my hand slipped down the handle a few times. I have learned to use it, and the handle is no longer a bother to me. But it did take a few tries to get used to it. I just hold it tighter and I am used to the curve.

Bobbi Brown's Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick compact is so gorgeous on it's own, and what it does to my skin is amazing. One sweep of a powder brush over the compact brighten up my entire face. A few strokes with a blush brush on my cheeks makes them beautifully rosy, and mixing and matching the individual colors with my shadow brushes helps to complete my easy - yet beautiful look.

Covergirl recently launched LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara, and it does as it's name says, makes lashes full thick, full of volume, and all without clumping, smudging or flaking at all. The orange brush threw me off at first, but it is actually a fuller version of my new favorite rubber-like type of applicators. My lashes were thick enough with just one, slow coating, and lengthened enough to make me all around lash happy.

As I said in the shampoo review, this really helps my hair when suffering from frizz, usually due to the weather. The smell is nice, and I use not as much as I do with other conditioners. I leave it in for 2 - 3 minutes, and rinse. When paired with the shampoo, my hair behaves and has much less frizz or fuss. A bargain too!

Initially when I saw the name of this new foundation from Smashbox Cosmetics, I thought hmmm... this can't be so. A self-adjusting foundation? I was incorrect to think that this foundation would miraculously self-adjust to your perfect skin tone. I was wrong. Self-adjusting means, this Smashbox Self-Adjusting Powder Foundation will look different and adjust, depending on which of the five ways you apply it. Now, I understood. Now that we get that this foundation provides completely adjustable coverage, let's see how this can be achieved. To get SHEER coverage, apply with a fan brush. To get LIGHT coverage, apply with a loose powder brush. For MEDIUM coverage, apply the foundation powder with a kabuki brush. For FULL coverage with a MATTE finish, first apply the powder with a damp with a foundation brush and then blend out to dry with the sponge. Finally, to get FULL all over coverage, apply the powder wet or dry with the sponge, depending on how much you want to cover. While I don't usually go for a very full coverage, I like applying this foundation with a damp foundation brush, and then blending and smoothing it out with the sponge that is enclosed in the compact. It is a very beautiful finish, almost air brushed like.

At $70 a tube, I had very high expectations. The scent is almost magical - just what I remembered when sniffing a sample of Creme de La Mer at one of the department store counters. The cream is definitely luxurious, from that smell to the way it feels and instantly smoothes and soothes my hands. A pretty generous amount is needed to cover the hands, rub between the fingers and massage into the cuticles. The Hand Treatment settled into my skin in a quick minute or so, and my hands were definitely soft and smooth. My hubby even noticed that my hands felt smooth later in the day - something I don’t think he had ever commented on. That, may be worth the $70 alone.
