This product is not only cheap compared to other shadows I have purchased, but it packs a big punch for color and staying power. You have to be careful about the amount you use so go soft at first and blend for a more bold look. You won't be disappointed.

L'Oreal Paris Vive Pro Style and Body Infusing Shampoo

From flat to fabulous in one shampoo!

I love this shampoo and the conditioner. I have baby fine hair that tangles like crazy. Living in the South, the humidity can be a nightmare for a girl whose hair goes flat in seconds. From the first shampoo, my hair was thick and full. After all of these years testing every so-called "volumizing" shampoo out there, I finally found a great match for me. The humidity has already kicked into high gear here with temperatures last week in the hundreds. Normally I would just toss my hair in a ponytail and call it day knowing that my hair would be flat. I only wore it up once last week! My hair stays full and thick (now I don't mean thick, thick, but way better than ever..) even under these conditions. I love it.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

The best, easiest, most lighweight exfoliator.....

I had read about this product in InStyle. A celebrity, whose name escapes me right now, gave it a "glowing" recommendation. I am a skincare specialist and makeup artist and I highly recommend this product to my clients, friends and family members. It is by far the best exfoliator I have ever tried. I have tried expensive (and this one is a little pricey, but worth it) and drugstore inexpensive exfoliators. Once you have made the paste from the tablespoon of product and water, it really spreads all over the face and neck. The result is fabulous, youthful, glowing skin that feels like a baby's bottom! It is gentle enough to use on the eyes believe it or not. So it is a great exfoliator for those with Rosacea or sensitive skin. Just recently I had a problem with severe dryness under one of my eyes due to the use of hydrocortisone from a bug bite. I used this product to exfoliate the dry skin left behind. It was amazing how great it worked! After applying all you have to do is put on sunscreen and go. I am 43 and people cannot believe it. They say I have flawless skin. I wish this were true, but the fact that they think I look 10-15 years younger WITHOUT surgery or Botox or Restalyne is a HUGE plus. I attribute the results of this product to be a reason for that.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau De Parfum Spray

MY NEW SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE

Go to the Chanel counter or department store fragrance counter and STOP and ask for this fragrance! I know, I know, does she like anything but Chanel makeup, skincare and fragrance - you would be surprised. But as a makeup artist I try everything and some things just stick. This fragrance may not be makeup, but it is pure heaven in a bottle! I received a gift card for Bloomingdales from one of my four beautiful sisters and used it right away because we don't have one where I live. I "splurged" and bought this fragrance. I tried it on at the counter and went "shopping" for something else. I kept thinking to myself "who in the - smells so good or what is that smell [in a good way!]" IT WAS ME! My signature fragrances since I was in my thirties (I am now soon to be 43) has been Ralph Lauren Romance (I still use it from time to time) and more recently Calvin Klein's Euphoria (and it is nothing but pure euphoria), but when I found this it stuck like glue! It is very elegant, yet sensual and not obnoxious. EVERYTIME and mean EVERYTIME I wear it, I get stopped and am asked what I am wearing....by women and men. Once I was in a crowded bar and had "bellied up" to get a martini. A man was there with his wife and he caught me just as I was turning around and asked me what it was. He said to his wife he really wanted to get that fragance for her. I got the "eye" from the wife and hopefully, if they made it to the mall in time, he got more than the "eye" that night. BEEEEE careful you could have hoards of the opposite sex following around! It has serious staying power, especially if you layer with the body cream and powder - yet still not obnoxious.

Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Satin Lip Color

BE PREPARED TO FALL IN LOVE!

I am a makeup artist and went with my Mom to the Chanel counter to help her "weed through" and dodge the over-selling makeup artists there (no offense, but we all need to save money where we can). Anyhoo, the girls at that counter were nice enough to let me do my own makeover on my Mom. I used this lipstick for the first time. We (yes I said we) have it in "Crazed [32]". Everytime I wear this color women come up to me and say "that is an amazing lip color - I need to get that." So as an artist I decided to try it on some of my friends with very different skintones. It looked beautiful on all of them! I have had my tube since November and still have quite a bit less. Put this on with a lip brush and put some clear gloss over it and you won't be disappointed. I do reapply it a few times a day, but it is so luxurious, it is worth it. This is definitely my "go to" lipstick, which is big, because I have LOTS to choose from in my collection of other lipsticks from cheap to Chanel!
