Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Makeup SPF 10

Can't be without this powder!

I always carry a Double Wear compact in Sand in my purse. I am light to medium olive complected, and am able to use this year-round even as my tan fluctuates here in Arizona (yeah SPF!). This absorbs excess oil like a champ throughout the day, which I love in the hot summer. If your skin is overly moist or oily when you apply any powder it will go on about a shade deeper than normal, so I always give my moisturizer a few minutes to really absorb when I use this. I strongly recommend a foundation brush for the most flawless finish and reserve the sponge for emergencies! I usually just use this as a setting powder with a big soft brush and my makeup stays flawless all day. It's also great for emergency touch-ups on the go, the coverage is amazing with a concealer brush! Full of pigment, not filler like most cheap powder products. Like Scarlett23 said, this lasts a long time. My last compact lasted over 6 months, and even then I dropped & broke it before I ran out!

Bobbi Brown definitely knows how to bring out the pretty in every face: healthy flawless looking skin, great concealer, and pink blush on the apple of your cheeks! Soft Pink lives on top of my vanity. It looks great on everyone because it's sheer enough to pick up your natural undertones, and just bright enough to add that healthy and youthful pop of pink that makes baby faces so enviable! It blends seamlessly, and wears all day without fading. While Soft Pink is my favorite, I love all of Bobbi's colors. If you want to look like you just naturally have an amazing glow, this is the blush for you.

sadly, a waste

I bought this hoping it would live in my purse and save me when I was short on time or needed to touch up throughout the night. Yes it is portable,quick to apply, easy to blend, and colors are nice, but after 5 minutes there will nothing but a crease of color leaving your eyes looking worse than the morning after! This goes on creamy and turns a creamy mess!

Maybelline New York Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Washable Mascara

This was my go to mascara for a few years, and if I didn't have eyelash extensions now I would still use it. I love the stiff yet thin bristled brush, it grabs EVERY SINGLE lash, separates, and lets you really coat them in deep dark shiny black. This mascara has the hold of an extreme hold shellac-ish hairspray, which helps to really position your lashes up and out! It is buildable before it fully dries, so you can get some major fullness in there too. I am surprised at the negative reviews, I would say this is the wrong mascara if you want subtle natural looking lashes. Overall, this is my "most drama for your buck" pick!
