After much searching, I've finally found a soap that both my husband and I can use. And, a soap that we both like to use. He loves extra-strong soaps (like Irish Spring or Dial), and I need a gentle, hypo-allergenic soap with a light scent. We could never agree on what soap to use, so I had to buy two. That was, until we stayed a great hotel that gave out complimentary L'Occitane products. We used the Verbena extra-gentle soap for a week, and we both loved it. The scent is clean and the soap itself is moisturizing without feeling greasy. When we got home, I ordered several bars of soap from L'Occitane. We're both happy now. I just sent some to my mother for Christmas, and she loves it, too. Her skin is even more sensitive than mine. The price seems high, but the larger sized bar is HUGE. It's like 3 bars worth of other soap, and it lasts over a month for two people. If you're like me, buying different soaps for each person in your home gets costly. One large bar instead of 2 tiny bars is a much better deal.

I'm a big fan of scented candles. I've bought tons of them over the years, and most of them are too strong or not strong enough. This candle is just right. It's got a clean, herbal-lemon scent that reminds me of how my childhood home smelled after my mother cleaned and polished everything with lemon oil. Household odors just vanish after I light my Verbena candle. I especially love to use it after I cook. The only problem that I've found with this product is that smells a bit like a citronella candle if left to burn for awhile. This makes sense since there's citronella in it, but I'd rather there were less. It does keep insects away, though.

This product smells so good that I don't think that I can do it justice here. It's sparkling, light, and clean, and so very refreshing in the summertime. The grapefruit notes are sweeter than most, and they make this scent so delicious. After a shower, I spray it all over me and it makes me feel so clean and fresh. The scent is very light. It's more of a eau de toilette, which is perfect for me. I love citrus scents, but many of them are too heavy and they trigger my migraines. This scent is one of the few that I can wear all day and not get a headache. I like this scent much more than L'Occitane's Verbena fragrance because it's fruitier and not as strong. I hope that L'Occitane keeps this in their collection. It's too perfect for me.

I first hear about this product on CNN. They did a report on how effective Boots No 7 Refine & Rewind (known as Protect & Perfect in NA) was. Several independent studies concluded that the product did was it promised: shrunk pores, reduced fine lines, made skin look younger. They also showed the line that had formed to buy the product in the UK, and it was around the block. They interviewed several of the ladies while they waited, and they all raved about Boots. That was more than enough reason for me to run out and try it. The price was also an incentive. I've now been using Boots for about 2 years, and I love the results. It does what I was hoping for. The scent is very light, which is also a big plus for me. It is a little bit heavy, and it does cause me to break out a bit if I use too much, so I only use it on my "problem" areas (laugh lines, fine lines on my forehead, etc.).

I absolutely love Feria hair color. I've used it for years now, and I always get compliments on how pretty my hair looks. When I first tried it, I didn't expect amazing results. I figured that the color would look off (I used hair color that boasted "multi-faceted" or "natural highlights" before and they all looked strange in certain lighting), but I was so pleasantly surprised. The color looked more natural than any of the others that I've tried, and it lasts a very long time when taken care of properly. It certainly lasts longer than any salon color that I've had done. Another plus with this product is how gentle it is. My skin is very sensitive, and this product didn't cause me to break out at all. I would have given this product a 10, but L'Oreal changed the conditioning cream that comes in the box, and it's terrible now. The previous conditioner was fabulous. It left my hair shiny, silky, and in better condition than it was before I colored. The new conditioner is like a paste, and it barely sticks to my hair. It doesn't really condition at all, so you'll most likely have to use a different conditioner after you color. I buy L'Oreal salon after-color conditioner from an online beauty supply company and use that instead.
