I always had a problem with mascara streaking, especially as I like to laugh alot and laugh hard -- until water runs down my face (and mascara). So, I'm a sucker to try anything that claims to be waterproof. So, far, the claim is sometimes just puffing. So, when I tried "Max Factor Stretch and Separate Waterproof Mascara," I was pleasantly surprised. The waterproof worked, and my eyelashes looked great -- longer and thicker. Who could ask for more?

Everyone has heard of using "Skin So Soft" for avoiding mosquitoes. The girls in our family love to use it when they are spending a long summer night outdoors. I'm not sure if the product truly fends off mosquito bites, but the girls swear it does. I'm not too excited about the product as a lotion, though. In my opinion, the lotion is far too oily, gliding easily over the skin but seeming to be too much. That said, we always buy from our Avon Lady just to please the little girls in the family.

When I tried "Phyto Ultra Shine Cream," my expectations were low. These low hopes were not because of the brand; rather, I had tried adding shine to my hair via various other products, then only finished with hair that looked rather oily. With "Phyto Ultra Shine Cream," however, I actually achieved a different look: shiny hair. I feel like the price is too high, though, for the amount of you get.

Bath and Body Works has been a favorite mall store of mine for years, so I decided to try their "Wonderland Lip Plumper." What I liked about the product as a glossy feel to the plumper, as well as a slight sting upon application that at least feels like something is happening. Honestly, I wouldn't say I saw my lips plump before my eyes, but my boyfriend said I looked especially nice that evening. I think the price is too steep, though, so I will recommend with a rating of 9.
