I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but wanted to try a drugstore primer that wasn't a mascara/primer combo (I like picking each product individually instead of bundled). It's inexpensive, and works great! The packaging isn't very cute, but the little fibers work well to add length and a little volume to my lashes without clumping. Lasts all day long and doesn't mess up my mascara. I've already repurchased this product and will continue to do so!

I own this in Licorice, which is a dark grey with multicolored glitter. It's inexpensive, and the packaging is cute, and the applicator is decent. There are also some fun colors to choose from. But, it takes a LONG time to dry (increasing the likelihood of smudging/smearing), and the pigmentation wasn't very good. When I layered it, it looked better, but it just took too much time waiting for it to dry. I was disappointed, and won't be repurchasing this particular shade. Maybe some of the pure glitter ones?

I was really excited about these coming to Walmart, since I LOVED the original Hard Candy line that they used to carry at Nordstrom, with the gummy rings in hearts and stars and circles. Unfortunately, these rings are hard plastic, and all of them are hearts. They are affordable, and there are some great colors. But the two shades I have (Beetle and Mr. Wrong) chip within a few days of wear, even with base and top coats. Maybe it's because they're shimmer polishes? The other shade I have has huge iridescent glitter, but it's kind of lumpy and I've only used it a few times, because the glitter chips off. If you're looking for a fun shade, these are great, but they're not the best quality.

But this product is junk. I was excited because I thought this might be a dupe of Urban Decay's Ink for Eyes, since the packaging is so similar. PROS: Cute packaging, and nice dual ended brush/sponge applicator. Inexpensive. CONS: Creases as a cream shadow, too sheer to be an eyeliner. Save your money, and skip this product.

I have one of these, and the packaging is cute, but I don't love the slide up "lid." Ithink that mostly I don't like the spearmint green color (it was a gift), but it's still kind of an underwhelming product. The pigmentation and length of wear are just alright. For the price, I think there are better shadows out there. It's not terrible, I guess if you can find a shade you like.

I was really excited to try this out, thinking it'd be cute and fun. And it was fairly inexpensive, so why not? Well, the brush is a little scratchy, it doesn't dispense product very well, and the smell is a little artificial. The packaging is cute, but not very good. It's kind of a lame product.

It smells alright, and the bottle is cute, and the price is right. But as a shampoo, it's kind of mediocre. Not going to repurchase.

I own this in Quince, Plum, Jasmine, and one other. The colors are really pretty and can be applied sheer or layered on for a little more color. I like the range of colors, and the cute packaging with the color coded lids. It smells nice and faintly fruity, but not in a plasticky or artificial way. The price is fairly average. I don't like the packaging in that you have to stick your fingers in the pot and the wall of the container is kind of thick, making it awkward to try and get some product out. I'd probably prefer the new squeeze tube version. It also isn't as moisturizing as I'd expect a "lip butter" to be. Overall, it's an okay product, but I'm not sure I'd repurchase.

A friend gave me her extra BE Kabuki, so I figured I'd give it a try. PROS: Dense bristles. CONS: Natural hair bristles are a bit scratchy. Some shedding. Expensive. If you're going to spend $28 on a kabuki, get the Too Faced Retractable Kabuki instead. It's super soft, doesn't shed, and retracts!

This is somewhat like Clarin's primer and Smashbox's primer in that it feels slick and fills in pores, but at a more reasonable price. The packaging is decent and convenient. However, it didn't work for me. It looked great right after application, but a few hours later, my face was even oilier than it is without primer! If silicone/dimethicone type primers work for you and you're looking for something less expensive, give it a try. But if you're like me and you know that silicone/dimethicone type primers don't work for you, then give this a pass.
