For years I didn't use mascara at all because my eyes were so sensitive and teared so easily that any mascara i tried would irritate my eyes, especially the ones with any kind of "extender" (extra fibers, etc, ). Then I discovered this one--a 2-step process. I especially like the fact that I can SEE the white, first coat so I know exactly how much and where I have it. Then the other end darkens all my lashes and the extenders perfectly. Nothing ever gets into, or irritates my eyes, and, since I cry very easily, I ALWAYS wear waterproof eye makeup. ( and, by the way, I have the same "sensitive" problem with eye makeup remover--and the only one I've ever tried that did not irritate my eyes is Maybelline's NON-oily remover; it works much better for me than any of the more expensive brands, like Lancome or Este. For every day use, I also love Laura Geller's Special Effects eye liner and top coat mascara that's kind of a clear blue gel--leaves a light blue line and sparkly lashes, that can be used alone or over mascara.

I have normal skin with an oily T-zone, and I never use anything designed for "DRY" skin, because it makes my skin too oily. This 7 day cream falls into that category. Instead, I prefer Clinique's "regular" Exfoliating Scrub , and I use it 3-4 times per week, primarily around my nose and upper cheeks, and that works great for me--it exfoliates and leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean. If I'm traveling and can't get Clinique, I find St Ives apricot scrub a pretty good (and cheap) substitute; I'm just careful to wash it off with soap and rinse very well,to avoid oiliness, and I don't use it at home.
