I used No Chips Ahead on top of Essie Sole Mate about 4 hours before bed, and I woke up with imprints on my nails from my sheets! I tried to hide the mess by reapplying the top coat on my way to work, but by the end of my 50+ min commute, it still wasn't dry, and had bubbled. Total disaster! I like Essie nail polishes, but I won't be buying this topcoat again. I might try Good to Go, since the reviews seem positive.

I first tried this mist on my wedding day, since I needed to make sure my makeup would last. This helped set it and kept me looking fresh throughout the very hectic and hot day it was (with a spritz or two every few hours). Now, I use it anytime I know I need to keep my makeup intact, such as a night out dancing.

I first tried this product a few years ago, and I loved it. My skin felt smooth, looked luminous and the scent was wonderful. I like how this works and think that my skin looks more radiant after each use. I use it approximately every three weeks, since I feel that's enough for my skin. (I alternate with regular facial scrubs). My advice would be to apply it to a slightly damp face if you have sensitive skin and to be careful when applying it, since it can make your eyes sting for a bit.

I really like The Body Shop's Shea butter product line, and use the body butter and this scrub often. I like that the scent is warm yet understated, so that it doesn't interfere with your perfume after use. The scrub itself has a nice consistency, and it's not abrasive. It does the job of exfoliating and polishing nicely, and leaves skin smooth and dewy after use. I think it works as well as pricier scrubs and it works great on my skin (which is a bit on the dry side).

I usually carry this lotion with me when I travel to help moisturize my face while I'm on the plane. I like the light consistency of the lotion, and think that it works well as a supplementary moisturizer, during the summer months. I have dry/combination skin, and so the lotion doesn't quite cover my daily moisturizing requirements, but I like using it to refresh my skin and appreciate the SPF 15 it offers.

I love the formula of this silky, yet rich night creme. It leaves your skin feeling smooth, is absorbed quickly, and doesn't leave any residue on your face or pillow. I have combination/dry skin, and I wake up with supple, hydrated skin. The orange-y scent is lovely and I can't get enough of this creme. Origins is known for natural ingredients, no parabens and no animal testing, so this wonderful night creme meets all my requirements.

I have this gloss in sheer raspberry, caramel and passion, and I really like the non-glittery hint of color they give my lips (though sheer passion does have nice depth). I find the minty-ness pleasant, and though I usually prefer squeeze tubes, I don't have an issue with the wand applicator.

I don't usually wear lip liner, but I wanted to try a nude base for my glosses, so I bought it in "Fair". I think it's a nice lip liner for creating a nude lip, since it lasts fairly long and matches my lips pretty well. I think the formula could go on a bit smoother, but maybe that would reduce its staying power.

I started using this creme because of my dad. This and aftershave are the only products he uses regularly. I have to admit, he's onto something, since this creme is very hydrating and soothing, though its thick, rich consistency does take a bit of time to absorb.

My mom has been using this soap since I can remember, and at 53, her skin is flawless! She doesn't splurge on too many cosmetics, aside from using Clinique on her face. I don't know whether her allegiance to Clinique's soap and moisturizer as part of her beauty routine is what makes her skin so youthful, or if it's just good genes. Just in case, I'm trying to follow her example so hopefully I'll look as good as her when I'm older.
