Though this is an excellent brush for covering blemishes or red splotches, I found it works wonderfully for applying the creme shadow for smudging. I just use the tip and it makes application a snap (especially the thin line of creme beneath one's lower lashes. But back to what it's designed for. It seems a tad smaller than the usual concealer brush which makes it easier to use, but more importantly is the handle. The short thickish handle fits well in my hand. I will accept that it might be the two-toning that changes the perception of the brush but I'm not convinced. Good quality, understated. I like it.

Well, as just another 30-day test person, Raw Minerals foundation brush was an unexpected surprise. I'd used a "stubby" brush when BareMinerals came out with their orange handled brushes. This is simply not the same. I'm afraid little stubby has a bit of an odor about him, but a little shampoo and he's been accepted by his fellow brushes. This is a new way of applying foundation for me. It has such a small, circular application area; doesn't take any longer to apply than a kabuki. I usually have to "fill" the brush a mere two times per application and the coverage is there. This brush is a tad pricey but worth a lot more. I have been cleaning it after each makeup which may seem a bit much, but stubby is still an understated part of the trial, and a gift at that!

Loved this shampoo. It has a wonderful "Origins" smell. And with the conditioner, the fragrance lasts! I don't have "thick" hair anymore, but it is long and prior to using this shampoo, I felt like what hair I had left ended up on the comb/brush. I even love the texture of this shampoo, and love the way my hair feels after rinsing it off. Origins is not one of the "pricey" companies out there, but you do pay for the value of this product (these plastic bottles are a tad small). I truly did not expect to be knot free, but the product if used correctly does what it says it does. Good enough for me. Oh, and a little of this product goes a long way (oh how trite of me).

I have been a "Bare Minerals" member since it was called that (Bare Escentuals now). Thought I would never change. I was mistaken. I tried Raw Natural and loved it. Great coverage, and the brush wonderful (I really wash all my brushes before using them). So what was the difference? I looked like "me." Before "Raw" I looked quite blemish-free, and glowing. But this time I "felt" more natural, too. I did not have to use as much of the foundation. Above all, I can use a lighter color and still get coverage. While before I looked a light tan, my legs didn't. I can only vouch for color lasting five hours without a "powder" touch up. Medium priced product but worth a lot more. Customer Service? I changed color, delayed my billing, among other irritating-type requests. They were absolutely wonderful about it all.

This is definitely the second half of THE wonder drug. Crow's feet take a dive. Eyes look fresher immediately, and last if you continue usage. I love this company! Promo material underestimates how good this product really is. Soft feel, oh yes. It carries a medium price range and an expensive texture. The packaging may be temporary but is soooo "natural looking" I hope they keep it. Yes, this one is worth more than its present cost. Another winner!

Just finished my first month with this product line - yes, you'll hear more from me! This is just short of being one-half of THE wonder drug. It did, and continues to do, an immediate puffing (or whatever) of fine to somewhat deep lines in all areas of the face except the eye, which product I'll get to later. The product material doesn't go as far as I do when stating claims. And it does last; seems to get better every day. It's a bit pricey on average but remains in the medium price range. I also love the feel; the luxurious feel of much more expensive products. Go get it ladies!

I truly didn't need another kabuki brush, but this one was soooooo soft! The chrome was classy! It looked like a much more expensive brush. No claims were made - it just sat there on its plastic shelf. I found myself applying my mineral foundation with this kibuki instead of "foundation brush." Seems to give much more control. Like most of my brushes, this kibuki has held up for several weekly cleansings. This kibuki is well worth the money!

I found "Kiss" exfoliator (lip dry skin remover) to be far below Philosophy's noted quality. There is no where near enough "Grainy Stuff" in this tube. When you feel a bit of grain on your lips, this may be the best you can do today. I did find that if I continued to rub my lips together ater application, there would be some grain left on the exterior edge of the lips. But we're talking several minutes later. It does finally soften the lips, but does not live up to its claims. Packaging? So So. Philosophy can do much better than this!

Got these brushes as a gift from a sort of good friend, and I almost put it away for regifting - Did I say that? I found that Ulta again has under priced itself. These brushes were very very soft (Something I find necessary in a brush). I usually opt for a longer-handled brush, but these seem easier to use. And I didn't have the impression brush would fall off handle! (another must). I have cleaned same several times with Ulta's brush cleaner, and the bristles have remained soft. For $17.99, these brushes need you! The quilted pouch? Eh.

Hadn't used Maybelline mascara in many years. As a teenager I used it because it was cheap. My eyes got infected, clumpy! Not clumpy as advertised, but my eyes again had a negative reaction and I had a patch over my right eye for days. Makeup is the one area where cost does mean better. After an hour my eyes were itchy, then runny. I don't believe it even darkened my lashes. Survey Says: Too thin, poor quality, "not" hypoallergenic, and a waste of $7.50. Why two stars? the packaging was quite nice.
