I've owned this for about 6 months now. The size is great. I love that the handle folds down to take up even less space in my makeup box. My only complaint is the curve of the curler itself. For my lashes I have to go in at one angle to curl the inside half of my lashes, and another angle to curl the outside half. This isn't uncommon, but the size of this tool in general make it a tad difficult to do this. The curl is as I would expect from any lash curler and the plastic is very durable. Very easy to wipe clean. Definitley worth the price to have a "travel" style curler handy.

I bought this because it got listed as "best anti-frizz" of 2007 in some magazine or another... I'm now glad that it only cost a few dollars. I have medium thickness, wavy, hair. If I just air dry, I tend toward frizziness. When using as directed, my hair looks great for about 2 hours after styling. Then poof! I don't recommend this to the truly frizzy ladies. If you're the type with mostly smooth hair and are just worried about a few fly aways, go ahead and give it a try.

What you get for under $30 is well worth it. As previous reviews mention, no additional straightening products are needed with this iron. It works very well, leaving hair silky and smooth. It is easy to make hair stick straight, but what I prefer is to hold a little longer at the ends to flip them outwards. Great if you have layers around your face. The reason I didn't give this a 10/10 is that sometimes it will grab a single hair where the hot plate meets the plastic frame. Ouch! Other than that this item has been flawless.
